    The worst Super Bowl in history has just ended, and I am debating whether to:

    A. Go to bed.
    B. Throw bricks at my television screen.
    C. Rush to YouTube and start watching "Diff'rent Strokes" reruns.
      D. Find some sort of hypnotist who — with enough session time, or with simple surgery — can forever eradicate the last four hours from my brain.
      I am not exaggerating. Super Bowl LIII was not merely bad. It was a boring, lame, non-suspenseful, never-ending, drool-puddle exercise in all that can suck about professional football and the surrounding hoopla. If one is a fan of batted down passes and 2-yard runs up the gut; of the majestic follow through of a punter's leg and the flight of a field goal as it misses the mark ... well, mazel tov. The NFL will happily sell you a $175 commemorative short-sleeve hoodie. 
      Or, put differently: My mother and father — Hall of Fame-worthy sports ignoramuses— spent their afternoon having tea on a neighbor's patio while eating dried prunes and debating the merits of General Electric's line of dishwashers.
      I envy them.

      and how was the one touchdown setup?  the only possession they let brady drop back 4 straight times. pass pass pass pass 68 yards to the 1. shocking i tell ya. shocking.  maybe a few more passes would have lead to more scores you know like that one drive?  was it prevent defense on that drive or just you know letting the best QB in the history of game make plays there Juggler?

      oh and the rams only good drive of the night was 40 yards 6 plays, 39 yards from 5 passes.  interesting that the best drives for both teams were heavily based on the pass?  actually it's not but to some people it still seems to be...i'm looking at you juggler.

      i'm not bored enough to look back but would be interesting to see of all their scoring drives in the Super Bowls how what the run-pass ratio was on said drives.  maybe someday ill look that up. 

      the boy wonder coach got it shoved up his ass by the Pats D.  I mean our Eagles did put up 41 with a backup QB last year against that D.  I'm wondering if McVay will remember all his shitty plays in this game if asked about it later.  Gurley has to be a lot more hurt than they are letting on to not get more touches the last few weeks.

      If you told me the Pats would only score 13 i would have thought the Rams would have won by at least a TD.  of course if you told me the Rams would only score 3 i would have thought they would have lost by about 30.

      This was the win for New England's coach.  His team might not have been great - but they made it to the SB and won 
      Other than their first one, I think this was his best coaching performance (whole season, not just the game). I actually thought they were about done after the Steelers loss which came after that brutal Dolphins loss. You never see them lose two in a row like that. Then they went back to the basics, smash mouth football, and steamrolled all the way through to yesterday.

      The game was boring, all but two commercials sucked, the halftime show was god awful, and I woke up at 4am with the worst ever stomach pains, shits, & sweats from party food.  Kinda glad to be at work right now.

      And McSham called what may go down as the absolute worst offensive game in Super Bowl coaching history.
      I do not think that is hyperbole - I think he was that bad.  It was as if he had an idea of what he thought would work and just stuck with that throughout the game, even though BB stuffed that plan back up his butt.

      Failing to make adequate adjustments is usually not the sign of an offensive genius. Camera panned in on him towards the end of the game and he had this blank stare on his face. Pretty appropriate.

      Neither team really moved the ball or scored.

      BOTH teams were coached good.  To deny McVay of that is just silly.
