How can an NFL team, especially a defending Super Bowl Champion, not hold onto a 23 point lead?

Hell, I bet even the Little Giants could have held onto that lead. That's it, suit up Becky!!!

This is the weirdest game Ive watched all year. Romo and Dez Bryant coming through in the clutch? I think he was out though. Fingers are on the chalk
  • If Dez didn't try to cushion his fall (like a wuss), he would have been in.

Well as somebody who isn't a Giants fan I only see them play 2-3 times a year, a couple of more if they make it deep into the playoffs, and I constantly hear about how awesome they are, and what a machine Manning is. But then I see them (usually 2 of those games are against the Cowboys) and they play like shit. It's frustrating, because I like for them to beat the Cowboys, and they always seem to play like they did today. If they had lost today that would have been one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen. It was still pretty pathetic, but I'm glad they hung on.

Giants always play down to teams they should beat. It's frustrating.
On the other end, they always come up big against top ranked teams in big games.

Falcons, Bears, Giants and Dolphins only teams to go undefeated in the month of October.

There is a showdown next week between what was forecasted to be the two worst teams in the league. Winner is 5-3.

Not only that (which in itself is extremely exciting...)- but did you know that if the NFL season ended today both the Colts and Fins would get the last 2 AFC playoff spots? Unreal...
I'm hoping Tannehill's MRI comes back on the clean side today and he's a go for the showdown w/ Indy. Looking forward to that game. Our secondary is an abysmal pile of pelican shit, a good QB should have a field day - and Luck is turning out to be a really good QB. If our run D/ front 7 handles business, however, this will be a close game.

What a difference an offseason, young QB's and different coaching makes:
Dolphins & Colts had a combined record of 8-24 in 2011.
This year these two teams are 8-6.

Looking forward to this game Sunday, should be a good one.
