Personally, after B.B. and TB get their sixth, it’s all over. Matt Patricia and Josh McDaniels are off to HC positions, BB retires and TB ends up in the front office a la Elway. Not a bad gig nor run and I can go back to raking leaves on Sunday with a cigar and listening to pats games on the radio like in the olden days. For now, no days off.

I want you to have a look at this:

    http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/121118/are-you-a-sports-fan-fraud/p1

Been a life long Pats/Sox/Bruins fan (was never one for the NBA. Probably because I can’t jump).

but you also can’t throw a spiral, skate or hit a curveball. :confounded:

and you’re a broncos fan, too.
I can so too either throw a spiral, skate and hit a 10 mph curveball! Still can’t jump though.

fuckin stupid site....cannot get to the reply area....anyway, you.....halifap2themax....were a wrestler....and only because you liked having your face in other dude’s crotches.
    You drunk again Wob?

Yeah, what a joke.  One SB and you get $100MM
It's really ridiculous. Considering how long NFL coaches usually last, it makes no sense. Should go down as one of the worst contracts ever. They'll want to fire him by season 4, but they'll feel obligated to give him two more years before eating the contract.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Is Gruden in charge of personnel?

i think Gruden will actually win one. Fix Carr shitty foot movement. See what the hell happened to Amari... shitty year. Khalil Mack top 3-4 defenders, they need a back like the Saints hit in with Kamara.

hes also entering AFC with Brady, Big Ben with only a few years left. Brady can talk 45 all day long.... I see him as a boxer who doesn’t know when to hang em up.... his Wife’s offseason statement imo is 100% true. He can still sling it 2 more years, but he should take his health and Run

I read an article earlier that says Belichick is interested in Giants job.

that right now McDaniels is also in the running, but that Bill might signal wink wink to NYG don’t hire anyone just yet.

i can see it honestly if he’s really mad at Kraft.

These next 2 weeks are best football weekends

That's been the rumor. I can only hope the Pats get eliminated early to see what happens?

    Horrendous.

They missed Kelce, but why does Andy Reid get conservative so early? Man... way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. This was a bad loss for sure.

Andy Reid is the new Marty Schottenheimer. The man cannot deliver in the playoffs.

I’ve been saying this for years. He’s a good coach and will usually field a competitive team but he always comes up small in big games.

The Falcons only team in nfc playoffs from last year

kyle Shanahan cost them more then their players fucking it up

they now go to Philly vs Foles, still think Philly will be tough but ATL D has swag and that offense though not as good as last year still has the capability

all the experts picked the Rams.... the Rams beat pretty much no one this year... look at the results. They were 4-4 at home this yr

people all love the new shiny toys ( Rams) the Falcons only lost one more game then last yr, have new OC and have stayed healthy

imo when u lose the SB that way.... u don’t blow your load on the REG season..... they just need to get to the dance

and now they are super dangerous and u can see confidence growing in them.

    NFC is wide open

I'd love to see the Vikings and Falcons in the NFC championship game. The Vikings need revenge on the '98 game that they should have won. Vikings are the greatest franchise left without a Super Bowl and this will be about the best chance they'll ever get with home field possible all the way.

  • I thought the Falcons looked pretty good. Their defence was solid. I like how they schemed for Gurley and challenged the secondary to handle the passing game. Sammy Watkins... what has happened to him?

Goff had a great second season and so did the Rams. Getting to the playoffs was huge for them. As they found out... those games are different than the regular season. I think they could use a playmaking TE to take another step forward.

  • Officiating in the Chefs game was not ideal:

    https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/referee-jeff-triplette-reportedly-retiring-after-questionable-performance-in-nfl-playoffs/

I think the Chefs had more to do with their demise than bumbling referees did, but they did botch a couple calls that were significant: the Mariota sack and non fumble was terrible given the explanation 'forward progress had been lost' (Mariota was frozen in the pocket like a deer in the headlights... man did he get drilled).
