But he doesn't have to be at his all pro level.
Evans is the all pro talent in that offense. Who are you going to double? Evans has to be first priority, then Godwin. Gronk (and Brate and their slot guy) will have single coverage. Gronk will be able to beat most linebacker coverage or overpower most safety coverage when its just one guy.
The key will be the O-line. If they hold up and give Brady time, he'll have guys open all over the place.
For Brady, circa 2004-2017, I would say this would be a recipe for guaranteed success

We saw him last year often struggle to get the ball downfield.  He missed open receivers, would bail quickly on plays.  The only things he could hit with regularity was the little short outs to Edelman and screens/dump offs to White.

Brady in Tampa Bay looks like a great headline and is sexy.... but there are like 25 QBs in the NFL, probably more with better physical tools right now.  That is why the Patriots chose to punt on him.  Outside of maybe 2 games, they were winning despite Brady, not because of him.

Will/can Gronkowski even be good?  Takes a year off.  Off the steroids so he is like 1/5th his playing size.  He will cycle on again, but training activities an such begin soon.  Not to mention, he was becoming extremely injury prone even 2 years ago.

I could easily see Tampa Bay being the 2019 Browns disappointment of 2020.  I remember how shot Brady's arm looked most of the time last year. He looked near the end.  As we have seen with QBs, the wall hits and doesnt relent.  Tampa doesnt offer a particularly good offensive line, and a poor defense.  Some shiny toys, 2 of them are very long in the tooth.
This is why Belichick does well in this deal.  He moves up in the draft without losing a player in this trade.  The Patriots had moved on from Gronk and it's hard to believe he'll be anything close to what he was while he was an All-Pro.

Its found money.  An asset out of nothing

I think Brady has a little more left than you are giving him credit for.
Last year outside of Edelman and White, there was nobody who could get open on the team with any consistency. The rookies were running the wrong routes (Jakobi Meyers guilty of this numerous times) and the crap they had at TE couldn't separate at all.
He bailed cause he had nowhere to go with the ball.
Now clearly he's not 2007 Brady, but if we get a 16 game season I expect at least 40 TD passes with those weapons.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Maybe this is all an elaborate ploy by Brady to associate TB with his name ... because I have no idea if anyone is talking about Tampa Bay or Tom Brady anymore when using TB and discussing the Bucs.  There could be some deep TB12 conspiracy shit going on here ...

    hmmm ....

I don’t blame you, at all. But would you sit 6 seats apart? The idea of sports being played in empty stadiums seems so bizarre. Is it the same? Players think of it as the same? Is it fair? Crazy to think about.

Stay safe and be well. Take care of your parents and avoid crossing your wife, at all costs and remember.........(joke deleted but you would have laughed, like a bobbit).

Brady is going to have Evans, Godwin and Gronk to throw to next year.  If this season actually happens that's going to be a great offense. Bucs fans don't deserve a team like this....but also do Bucs fans even exist??  That stadium is always half empty and majority people there are rooting for the road team.  But I guess that doesn't matter since even if the NFL takes place this year I highly doubt there will be any fans there.
bucs get a fuller stadium than fins.

contract the bucs, fins, marlins, rays and whatever the hockey team is.

Interesting first round.  Loved the Niners' getting two guys who can start and contribute right away.

Laughed out loud (a lot) at the Packers.
I then read that this was the first skill position player they used a first round pick on since Rodgers on 2005.
Laughed some more.  (Obviously I don't much like the Packers)

Liked the reactions of the kids/families in their homes.
Didn't like it going past midnight but oh well.
