  • I'm not a Pats fan, but I respect them. They look really good right now. A team is going to need some lucky bounces to beat these guys right now. They can be scored on, but I'm not so sure they can be stopped.

for sure! what’s not to respect about a team that gets another team’s player to fake an injury in order to get said player waived so the cheatriots can pick him up?

So that’s the excuse this season? TB has spent 11% of his career as player of the week.

What’s going to hurt is watching the Pats win another super bowl. But I’ll enjoy watching the product.

    That's a reach.

And if it was so... then lol at the Packers.

Every team in the NFL has some variety of issues. Deflated football? Lol. I wold say ignoring concussion protocol is a far more severe offence, but there are no Seahawk or Falcon staff members being suspended that I hear of.

I'm not a fan, but I'm not a hater either.

Man... you have issues with greatness don't you? I'm battling you on the Foo Fighters front and I find myself defending the Patriots from you as well (who I love to see lose the one or two times a year they do).

Tell you what: relent on the Foos and I'll let you have the Pats.

Fantasy football was one of contributing factors to me quitting watching NFL three years ago. Couldn’t watch a game without some asshole turning to me and saying “I have Denver’s defense on my fantasy but Phillip Rivers is my quarterback but the guy I’m up against has Antonio Gates, so I’m screwed.” Good I don’t give a flying fuck, you sound ridiculous  right now, leave me alone.

I went thru the same issues. plus I always think (in the back of my mind) that this shit is rigged. way too much money bet on the NFL. College Football is a way better experience.

    Wrong..... maybe college basketball

but I have never seen such obvious plays on a college football field.

I can name 3 games off the top of my head that I think were fixed in the NFL.

and all 3 were Seahawks games.

College hoops for sure, but I can still see it happening in college football with the amount of teams out there.  And especially with these college kickers!!  Those fuckers routinely miss 25-30 yard FGs and cost me money!

There's a shitload of money bet on college football as well...college is much more likely to be rigged than the NFL.

    Wrong..... maybe college basketball

but I have never seen such obvious plays on a college football field.

I can name 3 games off the top of my head that I think were fixed in the NFL.

and all 3 were Seahawks games.

The Superbowl vs the Steelers was downright criminal.
As was Pats Giants and the perfect season bowl.

I recall a Pats-Raiders game that featured a pretty significant turn of events which generously favoured the Pats.

I wonder how things would have turned out if things hadn't fallen into place as they did that year?

It was a fumble, it was a fumble!

I remember exactly where I was when that happened and it was in a car so I heard it unfold on the radio.  Odd play.

    Same.

Clearly a pump fake being brought down... and clearly a fumble.

Championships require some good fortune somewhere along the line.
