good to see Brady still doesn't think rules matter for him. thrown out of closed park.  dipshit.

and i'm guessing the ratings for the draft this year will be the highest they've ever been.

    Report(I heard on the Radio)

Gronk comes out of retirement(Shocker I know>LOL) and was traded to the Tampa Bucs for Draft picks

Does Gronk have anything left?  Belicheck wins again.

    Exactly what the Bucs needed

The Bucs literally gave the Patriots two draft picks for a guy NE wasn't counting on playing for them again.  Crazy how Bill Belichick does it.

Its one pick, a 4th for Gronk and a 7th. For a 30 year old TE that very well may be healthy now. Not like Tampa loses in this.
And any team would demand a pick for a player coming out of retirement to play for another team.

    Didn't get enough for him.

Whoops, should have read that more closely.  That evens it out quite a bit.  Still though, they trade a 7th for a 4th and had no plans of Gronk returning.  Bill Belichick playing chess again.

Yeah, one year away from the NFL at that age he should be in prime shape.  And we would have known if he had done anything stupid like hurt his back while riding a pony down a slip & slide at a rodeo in his retirement because Gronk has been running his own Truman Show.

Gronk wanted to play with Brady.  Pats could have probably got more but not worth public scrutiny to try to rake gronk over the coals.

If the season is played they need to tank and Endeavor for Trevor.

Pats will go after Tua if he slips out of top 10

they could afford the gamble... prob end up with a healthy Tua, start competing for SB 2022/2023

I predict Tua will win the Offensive ROY in 2020.

Brady is going to have Evans, Godwin and Gronk to throw to next year.  If this season actually happens that's going to be a great offense. Bucs fans don't deserve a team like this....but also do Bucs fans even exist??  That stadium is always half empty and majority people there are rooting for the road team.  But I guess that doesn't matter since even if the NFL takes place this year I highly doubt there will be any fans there.

Florida has plenty of New England transplants, but most are senior citizens (my aunt & uncle live just outside of Tampa) and can't imagine too many of them will make the effort to attend Bucs games. But as we've seen the Devil Rays only seem to sell any decent amount of tickets when either the Yankees or Red Sox are the opponent, I think attendace will be fine while Brady is there if they allow fans.

Will/can Gronkowski even be good?  Takes a year off.  Off the steroids so he is like 1/5th his playing size.  He will cycle on again, but training activities an such begin soon.  Not to mention, he was becoming extremely injury prone even 2 years ago.

I could easily see Tampa Bay being the 2019 Browns disappointment of 2020.  I remember how shot Brady's arm looked most of the time last year. He looked near the end.  As we have seen with QBs, the wall hits and doesnt relent.  Tampa doesnt offer a particularly good offensive line, and a poor defense.  Some shiny toys, 2 of them are very long in the tooth.

This is why Belichick does well in this deal.  He moves up in the draft without losing a player in this trade.  The Patriots had moved on from Gronk and it's hard to believe he'll be anything close to what he was while he was an All-Pro.

I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

I could maybe see that.  But the Browns also had one of the worst coaches in the history of the NFL last year and the Bucs have Bruce Arians.

But he doesn't have to be at his all pro level.
Evans is the all pro talent in that offense. Who are you going to double? Evans has to be first priority, then Godwin. Gronk (and Brate and their slot guy) will have single coverage. Gronk will be able to beat most linebacker coverage or overpower most safety coverage when its just one guy.
The key will be the O-line. If they hold up and give Brady time, he'll have guys open all over the place.
