Their defense is allowing 8 points a game. Easy schedule, for sure....but man that’s an unreal performance through 6 games

I can't wait to see them play Mahomes & the Chiefs.

And 3 of the TD's scored against the weren't scored on the defense.
The fumble return last night, a pick six by Stidham against the Jets and a muffed punt recovered in the end zone for a TD by the Jets.
Defense has only actually given up 27 points through 6 games.

Oakland has the toughest schedule in the league and will be traveling the most miles by far out of any team.

No home games from Sep 19- Nov 2.

And we’re still gonna kick some ass

I’m making a fortune on New England. Bet them every game except against Buffalo (where they didn’t cover). Feel like a bit of a whore saying things like “Come on, Tom!” while watching the game. But that’s okay. I came to the realization years ago that resistance is futile when it comes to the Patriots. If ya can’t beat them, bet them!

I don't disagree that it's a terrible schedule, but NE routinely wins at least 11 games a year, usually more. When they do that as frequently as they have over the last 19 years, you can probably rule out strength of schedule as a reason for their success.

& yeah, next year will be brutal.

they'd most likely be 5-1 against any schedule but to deny they have played possibly the shittiest 6 game schedule to start a season in history would be pretty ridiculous. and the next two weeks are pretty blah as well.  it gets much tougher in the 2nd half of the season.

But your ire should be directed at those shitty teams because they’re shitty, particularly those in the AFC East for being shitty for two decades, and not because the pats beat them and are 6-0. What’s the excuse going to be when the pats run the playoffs? Home field advantage because of their shitty teams’ schedule, I suppose? And then, if they’re able to beat the NFC in the super bowl? I look forward to the whine.

Not having researched every 6 game start for every team in every season in history, it would be ridiculous for me to agree with that claim... But maybe you HAVE done that research, if so I'll yield to your conclusions.

I agree they have a favorable schedule, and I very much believe there are more bad teams in the league this year than there are good. Neither of those things mean this Pats team isn't a wagon... all of these things can be true at the same time.

In fairness, their 1st victory was a blowout against the Steelers with Roethlisberger, a team many pundits picked to win the AFCN; and they also played the Bills, a team that while they may not be among the best in the league, they're also far from shitty. The notion or suggestion that they haven't played a single decent team over this 6 game stretch is simply inaccurate.

I also agree the second half will be tougher, I can't wait for the Ravens, Eagles, Cowboys & Chiefs games.

Well I hate to admit it, and I've never done it before this season, but the money I've been betting on New England with was won by betting the farm against my favorite team, the Dolphins, in week 1. Knowing Baltimore always kills them, and knowing that they're pretty much TRYING to lose, it was too good to pass up. And I feel no guilt. I've quit taking them seriously as a competitive sports team years ago....often half-joking that they've filled the comedy-void in my life left by Seinfeld. I've always watched their games and cheered them on no matter how far out of the playoffs they are or how embarrassing they might be. But this season, I felt it was time to cash in on them. I went on to bet against them and win in week 2 against New England, and again in week 3 against Dallas. Not going to bet against them this week against Washington though. Not sure if even they can out-tank Washington. We'll see though.

Because it’s no reflection on the Pats and their success. They’re a very well run organization and despite their “soft” schedule, they’re ultimately the most successful. It gets old listening to the “excuses.”

I don’t care if it’s shit. That’s not the Patriots’s fault, problem, or issue. Teams and fans of other teams should focus on their teams and wonder why they suck and can’t enjoy the same level of success.

fuck that once proud franchise AND their fan base!

    I’m loving the dysfunction.
When I grew up everywhere you looked was Redskins stuff. Skins & Steelers were about 50/50 around here. I wasn’t quite 7 yet when the Colts moved so I don’t really remember them having a following around here. When the   Browns moved, there was a surge of Ravens fans and that was also when the Redskins first started going down hill. It quickly became an even 1/3 split of all 3 fan bases. Nowadays, you’re hard pressed to find anyone wearing Skins gear in public. It’s 50/50 again but they aren’t in the discussion.
They were my team when I was a kid. I ditched them at Spurrier. I don’t know why anyone still supports that mess of a dis-organization. And that’s coming from a guy whose favorite sports team holds the world record for championship drought.

Why can’t non-patriots fans accept that the pats are the most successful nfl organization with the GOAT qb, coach, and coach/qb ever in the history of the NFL, never to be duplicated or surpassed. Accept it and move on, Shirley.

    Its a terrible schedule.

The Bills are reaping it as well.

Next season have both West Divisions i think, it should be tougher

I look forward to the whine.
what ire? in both posts about it i've acknowledged how good the Pats are.  just stating facts about their schedule so far. it's been shit. you can't possible not acknowledge that fact can you?  damn  why are Pats fans so damn sensitive about people bringing up their schedule to this point?

Why can’t Patriots fans accept that their team accomplished all of this with a very small amount of dignity (they dropped Brown, or I would have said no dignity) and an above-average amount of luck?

    Its a terrible schedule.

The Bills are reaping it as well.

Next season have both West Divisions i think, it should be tougher

I look forward to the whine.
what ire? in both posts about it i've acknowledged how good the Pats are.  just stating facts about their schedule so far. it's been shit. you can't possible not acknowledge that fact can you?  damn  why are Pats fans so damn sensitive about people bringing up their schedule to this point?
Because it’s no reflection on the Pats and their success. They’re a very well run organization and despite their “soft” schedule, they’re ultimately the most successful. It gets old listening to the “excuses.”

I don’t care if it’s shit. That’s not the Patriots’s fault, problem, or issue. Teams and fans of other teams should focus on their teams and wonder why they suck and can’t enjoy the same level of success.
jeez it's not like i called them (correctly) cheaters or anything.  lighten up francis
Why can’t non-patriots fans accept that the pats are the most successful nfl organization with the GOAT qb, coach, and coach/qb ever in the history of the NFL, never to be duplicated or surpassed. Accept it and move on, Shirley.
Why can’t Patriots fans accept that their team accomplished all of this with a very small amount of dignity (they dropped Brown, or I would have said no dignity) and an above-average amount of luck?
Sorry, Luck quit the banner hanging happy Colts.
No lame quip for the dignity part?
The NFL has no dignity. Sorry to break it to you.
Lol, can’t really argue with that.
True, you can’t. But there’s no denying that the Pats have been more scummy than the average NFL organization.
