word on the streets is the guy is concussed and will be OK because they are 4-1.  One person claiming to know says he may have fractured his orbital.  Regardless, it seems like we have avoided a broken neck situation

The joke about "he's fine they're 4-1" IS hilarious, but all joking aside... that was scary. It was also unnerving how slow people were to react. At least call a f'ing ambulance.

Khalil Mack suddenly didn't want to talk to reporters yesterday.  Thought he’d been looking forward to that game.....

I just thought of the perfect way to fix the NFL ref and rules debacle that is playing out in full effect right now ...

Immediately bring in NCAA refs and use NCAA rules.  Now there are many parts of the college game I don't like, but love or hate them, at least the umpires seem to understand them.  I really didn't think it could get any worse than last year's QB touch penalty where linebackers were injuring themselves trying to avoid not breathing or even glancing at the QB but the NFL somehow did it.

Yes. McFarland was the best part last year but having him out of the booth was dumb. Witten and that squirrel on his head are better off back on the playing field.

I couldn't stand him last year but I think it was because of that stupid gimmick. He's a quality analyst though.

Yeah I actually stepped away and missed the injury.  Need that dude to be in there, he is balls out.
If they can stay healthy for a few years this team could be very good.  Waiting for Jalen Hurd to suit up, this dude is absolute nails.  With Hurd, Deebo, and Kittle I think they can have smash mouth receiving to go with smash mouth running.
Their D line can be downright nasty.

    so think about this.
    In the NFC:

Eagles, Cowboys, Vikings, Packers, Bears, Rams, 49ers, and Seahawks - at least 3 of these teams will not make the playoffs. I didn't include the Lions or any teams in the NFC South here either.   the NFC is fucking stacked while the AFC is a turd in the punch bowl after NE and KC.   going to be a wild ride in the NFC.

Also, I would kind of like to root for the Browns....but they are really tough to like.  Mayfield is a total dickbag.  Proved it again last night w/refusing to shake hands prior to the coin flip.
How did that work out for ya, cool breeze?
(Worst game as a pro, looked horrible.)
Also, ODB has been my most despised non-beater player for the past few years.  Had to laugh at how they worked so hard to get the guy going (he threw a pass, he ran the ball, he returned a punt, and he caught a few balls) -- and that it fell flat.
Over-rated, if there ever was such a chump.  Old man Sherman and our back up corner pretty much took him out of things.

The NFC West looks like the best division in the NFL this year.

Not to sound all tin foil-y, but it won’t matter as long as rules aren’t applied uniformly and the NFL doesn’t care what gets them year round headlines.

    No.
Last year you had the Rams at 13-3 & Seahawks at 10-6, but they had a 4 win SF and a 3 win AZ, by no means would you call that best division in NFL.
in 2017 Rams were only playoff team and NFC South had 3 playoff teams.
2016 Seahags were only NFC west team with winning record

The Patriots are 6-0, they can only line up against each team on their schedule. We shall see in the second half when the teams they play are much better than those they've played si far.

The time off coming up is much needed with all the injuries they've incurred. BTW Gronk comes back by the bye week to help out this offense.

    Peace

Gronk isn’t coming back, at least not this year.

Crying about NE’s schedule is no different than crying about their division or any other excuse people use to undermine or discredit their success. At the end of the day it’s still just crying.

    Its a terrible schedule.

The Bills are reaping it as well.

Next season have both West Divisions i think, it should be tougher

I don't disagree that it's a terrible schedule, but NE routinely wins at least 11 games a year, usually more. When they do that as frequently as they have over the last 19 years, you can probably rule out strength of schedule as a reason for their success.

& yeah, next year will be brutal.

The Giants suck, horribly.  Made that a game for a half, which was surprising.
Pats win 13 games this year, home field advantage again.

Their defense is allowing 8 points a game. Easy schedule, for sure....but man that’s an unreal performance through 6 games
