The Falcons only team in nfc playoffs from last year

kyle Shanahan cost them more then their players fucking it up

they now go to Philly vs Foles, still think Philly will be tough but ATL D has swag and that offense though not as good as last year still has the capability

all the experts picked the Rams.... the Rams beat pretty much no one this year... look at the results. They were 4-4 at home this yr

people all love the new shiny toys ( Rams) the Falcons only lost one more game then last yr, have new OC and have stayed healthy

imo when u lose the SB that way.... u don’t blow your load on the REG season..... they just need to get to the dance

and now they are super dangerous and u can see confidence growing in them.

    NFC is wide open

I'd love to see the Vikings and Falcons in the NFC championship game. The Vikings need revenge on the '98 game that they should have won. Vikings are the greatest franchise left without a Super Bowl and this will be about the best chance they'll ever get with home field possible all the way.

    It's a hopeless situation...
  • I thought the Falcons looked pretty good. Their defence was solid. I like how they schemed for Gurley and challenged the secondary to handle the passing game. Sammy Watkins... what has happened to him?

Goff had a great second season and so did the Rams. Getting to the playoffs was huge for them. As they found out... those games are different than the regular season. I think they could use a playmaking TE to take another step forward.

  • Officiating in the Chefs game was not ideal:

I think the Chefs had more to do with their demise than bumbling referees did, but they did botch a couple calls that were significant: the Mariota sack and non fumble was terrible given the explanation 'forward progress had been lost' (Mariota was frozen in the pocket like a deer in the headlights... man did he get drilled).

what no one mentions is that the first chief to pick up mariotta’s non-fumble was then tackled and down. another guy then took that dead ball to the end zone.

Will feel badly for them when they are denied again this year.  ;)

    lol

Someone made the point earlier in this thread that it is remarkable there are so few people on this planet capable of playing QB in the NFL.

Even some of the 'best' teams (these are teams in the playoffs) feature guys that struggle passing the ball.

taylor is ok as long as the bills are winning or tied.
  • Without hyperbole, this was the worst quarterbacked playoff game I have ever seen.
I like Taylor's guts but his reads and touch were awful.
    Blah.  Dogshit.

  • I know Jacksonville beat Pittsburgh earlier this year, but my god if they play like that Pitt might win by 35.  As long as #7 doesn’t toss 5 picks.
