i knew Damien was with you and I just presumed Casey would get the other!!!

i hope to feck that the bootleg is available when i get home tonight!! its been 5 days noo!!! ;)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

and one time when I looked at the Spanish couple's direction.. the girl was down on her knees in front of the guy.. erm. well, giving him a bj.
lol. I can't believe Byrnzie didn't see them, I mean, he's wayyy taller than me and all.:D
but then PJ started and the girl stood up.

not really something I'd like to see again. :o

they were also surprised to learn you couldn't smoke indoors. as if the huge banners they have in the venue aren't visible. :D

I think everyone said it all pretty much ....since it's taken me too many days to get to the PC and write anything....

Best gig i've ever seen in my entire life !!! Waiting all fuckin day in the sun and the rain drops that actually hurt when they came in contact with skin was so worth it !!!

Dunk - I decided to wait for 6/7 hours in queue outside the point rather than go to the bar so maybe see yah next time!

First time going to a concert completely sober and I think I'll stick to that in the future...... I've still got sounds from the point stuck in my head I hope they last forever!!

Everyone I met was great !!! We should have a reunion in Helen's B&B some time !
I was supposed to join the post gig party in the white horse but by the time I got back to hotel - showered - had a beer - I was wrecked and not moving anywhere else !

I need someone to take a pic of the design on back of t shirts/ on hats ( i lost my fuckin t shirt) I wanted it tattoed -- the wee pearl jam design ..... can't seem to find it online anywhere..... anyhow i appreciate if anyone could do that !

AND lastly thanks to the lads for playing the point and letting us participate in the experience !!! It was fuckin amazing !!!!!

You may have to register first. Then just type 'Pearl Jam - Dublin 23.08.2006' into the search bar.

    Or try these....

:( Ah well, we made up for it, and at the end of the Dublin gig we had a better view than most from the side of the pit, got to see some of the encores at least.

She wasn't very well at all, and it wasn't the fact Paddy Casey was about to come on :D ... ah, she's been ill lately, and it's been a tough week for her, and as i mentioned, the lack of air conditioning in the point didn't help! But ... we had a ball at Reading :)

Oh yeah, it was excellent, but ... am I the only one who thinks the Dublin encores were better? Hmm, maybe because of Black, crazy mary,Indifference?

But .. at least we saw ALL of the reading gig :) and great it was.

Ah yeh well of COURSE the Dublin set was better

But I'd love to see a show finishing with Baba and then Yellow Ledbetter... I remember on BBC2 at about 12.30 they commented on how PJ were refusing to get off stage behind them or something like that :D

I can't compare see, as i only seen bits of one, but all of the other :p

Ah well, worth all the travel and achey muscles I feel right now .. still!! after reading! Alot of walking, jumping, spreading the legs to fight stance!!!! (to prevent being pushed over :D )

One thing, as I didn't notice .. was there camera's at the point? May seem like a dumb Question, but i really didn't see any? Would be stupid of them to not include some of that gig on any forthcoming DvD!!

There was someone with a camera but he didn't film everything and most of the filming was done from in front of the pit not on stage.

Yeh but the band film most gigs themselves... don't they??? For their own purposes! Doesn't Eddies brother do some of them or something? I saw Mike posing and waving at the camera... yer man was right in front of me filming.

Yep. That's who I figured he was but if they were making a tour DVD his footage would get used wouldn't it?

Oh I don't know! I was saying about him the other night and everyone looked at me like I was mad so I thought I just got that from my head or something so it's good to see somebody else knew that :D

I don't know. The camera was just hand held... is it normal to make a DVD from something like that?

Probably not a whole DVD but maybe an extra. I know on previous DVDs he's been credited for camerawork.

He definately did Education which if they make a DVD would be a good one to use as it was a *first*. Can't remember which others he did but he stood in front of me a bit too.
