Hmm… well I can’t even remember what the context was but my and emmi were disagreeing on something and pretending to argue and Casey was quite happy about the prospect of having ‘an Irish chick and a Finnish chick’ fighting :D

First day back at work dealing with suspended tube trains and morons of all shapes, sizes, creeds and colours. Why can't I be allowed to spend my days going to pearl Jam concerts and getting pissed instead?

My first post on this forum but just wanted to say that the Dublin show was awesome. Seen PJ in Manchester once so this was my second show, my first as a ten club member. I felt like a giddy school kid when I walked past the car park queue and joined the early entry queue. Met loads of sound people, met some more in the temple bar the next day. Thanks go to the lad from Norwich who got my t-shirts, it was crazy at the t-shirt stand and thanks to the nice woman who gave me a badge iin temple bar. Rambling now as its my first post, bye

  • Well....what can be said that hasn't been already. Amazing gig and to top it off, was on lunch on the tuesday and ran into Jeff and Mike just of Grafton st. Couldn't believe my eyes. Went up to them and they were really cool about it. Had a million questions but all I could say was wow!!!!!! love you guys, can't wait for the show etc.... It made waiting in the Queue that much more bearable. Can't be six years till the next time.

  • Dublin is where I lost my Pearl Jam viginity and it didn't hurt one little bit - honest :)

Previously noted for saying to my other half "Pearl Jam... I just dont understand 'em, all their songs sound the same" - oh my shame now!! *blush*

Dublin was amazing, unbelievable and unforgettable. I came away with bruises and aching legs but my god it was worth it...

Standing in the queue at 5pm and not sitting down for another 6 hours - WOW! Being totally oblivious to Eddie standing at the window with a skateboard looking at us all shivering in the queue in the Dublin rain made my waiting seem all worthwhile :).

I dont know the name's of all the songs they played, but I knew most of the tunes thanks to my other half playing it in his car/bedroom/front room, and they had subconciously been etched into my brain ready for Dublin. I've never jumped, sweat or sang so much at any concert!! Totally blown away by how much Ed appreciates and interacts with his crowd and how much the band have fun on stage. I can't believe i've lived for 27 years without seeing them before.... :) An immense experience!

Its really nice to hear stories from people who aren't quite as obsessed as the rest of us! Although, by the sounds of it, you're well on your way now!
