this never ending tour journey thru life is catching up to me...but i just wanted to chime in and say that fuckin CLEVELAND was an epic show!!! im a bit of a tour slut so ive seen them many many times...but there was just something about that show....the setlist was great! the band was on fire! and eddie was like jim morrison that night. i was 4th row in front of mike....but ive been closer and this show doesnt even touch the others!

so it was one that if you missed it....man...it sucks to be you! :D im sure glad i got to experience that...and in my hometown!

hello to all those i met for the first or second time.... :)

    ok next stop...phillly

Are we getting something out of this
    all-encompassing trip?
  • Absolutely incredible show with an amazing crowd. Not even the fight in front of me or the person behind me that jacked my poster (hopefully your enjoying it) could get me down. Stone was a riot with Don't Gimme No Lip! Gotta give the guys credit for coming out every night and making each one something to remember whether its your first concert or 100th. See you all in Cinci!!!

odd you say that about him being like jim that night, the way he acted was somewhat like morrison, very poetic, kinda slinky with the mic stand etc

i can't stop listening to the boot though and that damn solo in immortatlity damn

woo hoo i hope to get one more show this tour yet but this show will be the highlight for me even though i was in the top deck

I for one, was taken aback by the lack of Even Flow. Anybody know exactly how long a streak of shows with it, was broken by its absence in Cleveland that night?

It looks like 9/13/05 is the last time it was skipped (unless you count the post Letterman taping show).

  • This was my first time seeing pj live. I have been waiting for this since I was 17. My wife got us the tickets for my birthday, and I couldn't have been happier....until we found our seats. We were in the top deck, all the way up to the wall. That wasn't TOO bad, but when we found our seats we found that they were seperated by a 40 foot acoustic wall. Oh, and we had to sit with a large bag of trash.

Other than that, I had a blast. The band was so tight it was amazing. Even sitting with jesus, they still sounded great...just a little too much echo. We bought the boot and I have been listening to it everyday since we got it, picking up on the all the things we missed.

I will go again, but I will NOT buy my tickets through ticketmaster.

    LOL!

Too funny.....tell the wife to hit up e-bay or something next time, or, join the fan club!

Glad you had a rockin' time anyway. The show and the boot are fabulous!

  • Do you really get better seats through the fan club? Or is it just the opportunity to maybe get better seats?

I love this bootleg. I recently started listening to it and it's amazing. One of the best Immortality solo's ever by Mike.

    Great Thumbing My Way too.

It was a perfect night. It felt like Ed put the setlist together just for me (more than usual, that is :p). I agree on Immortality. I love that intro. Also, that It's Ok tag was simply mindblowing :)

I just wanna give a shout out to the couple that was in front of me in Cleveland. They talked all during the show about everything in there lives. And even discussed there grocery list at one point. LOL Too bad the Grand Rapids 10c ticket mix up couldn't of happened for this show also. My buddy drove down from Chicago for the show. Would have been nice with some better seats. It was nice hearing Smile. :)

We had a couple of guys to our right who passed in front of us at least five times. Crazy dudes... how would you ever want to miss a minute of these treasures? And ... for BEER?

I only leave my seat during a show for a bathroom break. And only after I can't hold it anymore. heh I dislike those people who are coming and going from their seat all during the show. Oh well :)
