    Mixed emotions because my friends who have been trying to have a baby for years are finally PG thanks to the wonders of IVF...but I told her our friend who we lost is smiling down on her right now and now I'm missing her and so I'm Happy and sad at the same time....

    Hot. Smoked out. There is a thick smoke cloud (even some ash falling in some places) over Vancouver from a forest fire 60 km away, as well as one burning about 3km from my place (and maybe about 500 meters from my office... but that one should be put out soon. Not big, and right next to condos).
    BC is burning.
