Hey SF have you seen any boot for the first show yet I've checked all over and still haven't seen one.
I haven't seen any. I've seen over on IORR there's a DVD somebody put up to download, but it's just a compilation of YouTube videos from the show, and put in order.
I'm sure there will be an official release of these shows soon. I would imagine they'll probably do a DVD box set (like Four Flicks or The Biggest Bang) for all the 50th Anniversary shows, or at the very least put them up to download.
They also had a audio bootleg on IORR, but the quality is not that great. I'm surprised that ther hasn't been ALOT of different versions of the show.
Well, if I were paying those ticket prices, I'd probably be more concerned/focused on enjoying the show than trying to bootleg it. I'm sure there are some more sources out there, the tapers at IORR like to mix the audio and create artwork and shit before they make it available.

There's 2 diff versions of night 1 up on guitars 101, both are mediocre hopefully some decent audio shows up.

I'm really hoping for official downloads of these shows. And it seems reasonable. They've taken the time to set up this online distribution thing with Google and their own Archive website, and they appear to still be making changes and working on it, as they changed up the game with the last release and now Google Play is available in Europe and other places. So it seems to me like they have more planned for this project. It might just be for future Archive releases, but since they have the network set up, why not sell downloads of the shows? Of course I'd still like to see the shows on DVD, but digital audio of the shows would be great to go along with it.

To those wondering about a DVD, it will be forthcoming. Next Saturday's show from Newark will be on PPV, so there will be a high-quality video of the show. I can almost guarantee the shows will all be available for download as well. As much as I love the Stones, they've proven they do not want to leave any money on the table (nothing wrong with this, but it is a fact).
I just coughed up an obscene amount for floor tickets to the Thursday show in Newark. It is my understanding Mick Taylor and Gary Clark, Jr will be joining them as well. I've never been to the Prudential Center. Does anyone have any tips or advice? I know PJ played some shows there a few years ago. Good venue? I am staying in Manahtten, but I would like to head to Newark early before the show. Does anyone know any good bars in walking distance?

I've never been to Newark, but over on IORR from what I've been reading it sounds like kind of a bad place. The advice over there seems to pretty much be "get in and get out...don't linger". I'm sure it's not a war zone or anything, and there are places that would be fine to hang out in, like the bar Bronx Bombers mentioned, or the arena itself. I just wouldn't head out there early for the sake of seeing the sights of Newark.

It's not that bad usually but I went to see the RHCP in may and one of the nights there were a few people assaulted by a gang of teens. It's Newark so just use common sense and be aware of your surroundings ie stay away from dark alleys.
This is baseless speculation, but I wonder if there has been talk of having Ed as a guest for a Newark show. Ed will be in town and he's a stones fan.
It's happened before: http://youtu.be/85MjNInEgzs
Doesn't do much for me. Though, i like some of The Black Keys.
The ONLY "guest" i want to see are Bill Wyman & Mick Taylor.
I'm pretty much the same way, but even as somebody who isn't a very big Springsteen fan, seeing him onstage with the Stones would be kind of mind-blowing. From a rock history/icon standpoint.
Seeing Clapton and Jeff Beck would have been good too, but Bruce and the Stones, that's a lot of star power for one stage. I wonder what number they'll have Bruce up for. If I had to guess, I'd say Wild Horses, as it's a pretty common duet and Bruce would probably sound good on it.
"See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"
I could do without GaGa, but the other two will be cool.
Since I am going Thursday, I am really curious who will guest for that show. Is there any word on when this will be announed? I read on a Stones forum that Mick T is all but confirmed, despite the fact he did not play Brooklyn. Given all the people who will be guesting at the Hurricane Sandy benefit Wednesday night, I imagine they will have plenty of options (I have no basis for saying this and I do not have inside knowledge, but EV and Sir Paul would be nice).
The Stones announced on their Facebook page that Mick Taylor WILL be at the Newark shows for tonight and the 15th.
"MICK TAYLOR TO JOIN THE ROLLING STONES ON STAGE DECEMBER 13 AND DECEMBER 15
The Rolling Stones have announced that legendary guitarist and former Rolling Stone, Mick Taylor, will perform at both the December 13 and December 15 concerts at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The show on December 15, which will also feature Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga and The Black Keys will be telecast live worldwide via pay-per-view at 9pm EST/6pm PST, giving fans around the world the best seat in the house. The pay-per-view is entitled “One More Shot” and will be distributed by WWE."

I wouldnt be surprised to see Clapton there. He played last night at 12.12.12 so he is in town. Beck would definitely be nice. Im going and Mick Taylor is the draw for me. Its a shame he is only doing one song (unless they change things up from London), but ill take it.

Yea, it would've been nice to see Mick Taylor on more then one song, but he was AWESOME on MR last night.
I went in thinking the show would be OK, at best, but The Stones KICKED ASS!! I like that they ONLY had one guest(John Mayer on Respectable, and he was GOOD), and Lisa Fischer on Gimme Shelter. They kept the Dog & Pony show to a minimum>
Show starts in less than 30 minutes. The PPV pre-show is pretty good, they're showing pro-shot footage of performances from the Paris secret show right now. There was also a pre-show on E!, but I flipped from that. It was a little too... E!. It was like some red carpet thing, and I kept expecting Joan Rivers to jump out.

Ga Ga was not that bad... Was disappointed with the Black Keys. I thought Bruce was OK. But for me, the highlights were Midnight Rambler with Mick Taylor and Going Down with John Mayer and Gary Clark Jr. Disappointed that Dead Flowers was the poll winner (I voted for Around and Around).

I voted for "Rocks Off", it's one of my favorite songs ever. I love "Dead Flowers" though so I wasn't disappointed that much. They had that webvote thing when I saw them in '97 and we got "Star Star", which was really fucking awesome.
I don't care for Ga Ga that much, but she can sing, and I can't really hate on her too much for her crazy dancing and then defend Mick for the same thing. I think she served her purpose, and did OK.
Black Keys were good I thought, and to play with them on a song they have never played before is cool, because the Stones don't go out on too many limbs with their setlists these days.
Bruce, his voice was kind of off. At times he sounded great, at times he sounded kind of bad, but his energy is what made the performance so great. And I thought it was really great. I'm not even a Bruce fan really, but the guy is an icon, and so is Mick, and seeing those two up there together was awesome. Bruce looked crazy happy, like a kid in a candy store.
Mick Taylor was very awesome. I was so glad, because I was nervous for him. This guy has been playing bars and small rooms for a long time. To go from that to playing a big show like that being broadcast worldwide has got to be an adjustment. Starting off with the non-televised shows to sort of warm up (still a hell of a transition though) probably helped. But he did awesome. I find it funny how animated and mobile he is on stage these days. In the old days he would stand there (sometimes in the dark until he played a solo and got a spotlight) and never move, never have a facial expression, just stare at his guitar and play. Now he's going up and down the stage like Keith used to, putting on a little showmanship, etc. It's kind of silly, but kind of fun at the same time.
Keith really surprised me. He hasn't played that well in years, since probably the Bridges To Babylon tour. He's focused. Notice I said earlier how Keith "used" to prowl the stage? Now he's more like Taylor used to be. He still does a little bit of posing and showing off, but for the most part he's standing there, paying attention to what he's doing, and playing great.
And yes, "Going Down" was great. That Gary Clark, Jr. kid is no joke. He tore that song up, and Keith's solo was really good too.
I was a little disappointed with the sound quality of the broadcast though. Ronnie was really low in the mix, and Keith wasn't that high sometimes. Didn't seem like a whole lot of thought was put into the mix, it's not raw soundboard or anything, but it's not great. Though I'm sure that will be mixed and cleaned up for an official release.

I thought it was a good show. I also voted for "rocks off" but i do like Dead Flowers as well.
Mick Taylor was definitely the highlight along with Going Down.
I thought Ga Ga was actually pretty decent. Springsteen was nothing special, but always good to see him. He really seemed to be enjoying himself out there. I saw him do Street Fighting Man on the RIver tour- would have been nice to see that duet!
I got lucky with some sweet seats with a last minute ticket drop; here are some photos (I was right next to the stage)
