Wait, I thought I saw somewhere there were 2 openers..are we sure there are no openers?

I cant find anything
Oh, you are probably right, I must have been looking at something for tomorrow night. Thank God!

Just found this unfortunately: "The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger is expected to be back with Beck when the tour hits the Hammerstein Ballroom on June 30."

Should still be a great time! I looked at Detroit's setlist and, really, he added six songs onto the setlist including both the acoustic and electric set. GOAST were truly excellent, and if given the choice, I'd probably take their set over an acoustic followed by electric Beck set.

Thanks. I've seen them before and they are good. However, I have wanted an acoustic Beck set badly since I first heard Sea Change (which would have been a few months after he stopped touring for that album)

Either way I know it will be a great time! Especially for a Monday )
So at least it is only one opening band. And I saw Sean open for someone when he was in the band with his previous girlfriend, so I won't be rushing in to see him again.

Great show last night with a nine song acoustic set! The line outside was so bad. I got in line at 8:20 and then into the venue literally 5 minutes before Beck took the stage.
For those who haven't heard, Song Reader will finally be given a proper recorded release on July 29.
Really looking forward to this. Jack White is doing a couple songs last I heard.
He's doing "I'm Down" which might be my favorite track on the record. For anyone who is interested, a band called The Portland Cello Project actually recorded the album a while back. It's really good. It will be interesting to hear how different the interpretations are.

I have to say that all the vinyl variations are off putting. 5 to choose from. I like the look of the yellow indie, don't see the value in the deluxe but they are a bit vague about it. All versions are way overpriced IMO. £30 in the UK for the indie 1lp version.

Agreed - that is just too much. QOTSA does multiple versions too, and it's irritating because I want all of them. Of course, that would be silly, so I'm forced to choose, which is unpleasant.

Although there is two versions of the new foo fighters record, at least they have kept it simple and the price down.
Saw The show last night and it was really good! Ben's a solid performer, and the setlist was well-made to keep the crowd really going. Nothing fancy - just a good, quality show. And his band is really good. BTW, I can't believe he is 47.

What is the deal with the tour poster? I bought one because I buy from shows I've been to.
Anywho, I'm off!

No, he didn't play the new song he released yesterday, but did play a couple other songs from the upcoming album, as it turns out, now that you posted the tracklist (could live without Wow being on the album, though it was good live).
