Odelay is one of his best. Midnight Vultures, Sea Change and Guero are all really good. Basically, anything after 1994's Mellow Gold, you can't go wrong in my opinion! See him live and you won't be disappointed!0

Midnight Vultures is the absolute dogs bollocks
Sea Changes is beautiful
Mellow Gold is out there
Stereopathetic Soul Manure is awful
One Foot In The Grave is folk
Odelay is joyous
... I could go on as each of his albums has it's own treasure and trash in it.But the guy is a musical genius in my mind ...
Steals from everyone ... but makes its sound like his own
and live he is in a different realm“There should be a place where only the things you want to happen, happen”0 -
I used to be a really big fan of Mellow Gold and Odelay but I never really kept up with him after that. I might have to get some of his "newer" stuff.* Cincinnati, OH 8.20.2000 *

The only one I don't like is Stereopathetic Soul Manure."FF, I've heard the droning about the Sawx being the baby dolls. Yeah, I get it, you guys invented baseball and suffered forever. I get it." -JearlPam09250

What is going on with Beck these days??? He hasn't put out anything new for awhile. The guy is crazy good and it's been too long>....favorite albums Mutations, Odelay, Modern Guilt and The Information. None of em sound alike. Need something new!!Another habit says it's in love with you
Another habit says its long overdue

one word:
MUTATIONS
you can thank me later, Save you 7" would be much appreciated :P ...... I am not in the business of being liked anymore ...0 -
he's one of those guys you gotta respect for his experimentation. he makes albums for himself and his creative muses, not to fit into any trend. thats both admirable and infuriating for fans who like one particular style or period of his work, and then he moves onto a new thing and sound.
sea change i view as his masterpiece. its brutal and beautiful. Golden Age, Lost Cause, Guess Im Doing Fine. Brilliant songs and among the best hes ever written. But as I said, that was 2002, and he doesnt have any other albums similar, nor will he likely ever.
he moves on and experiments with so many different genres. midnight vultures is dance music and sounds like prince or something. Mutations is all over the map genre wise.0 -

he's been doing the Record club thing for several years now, recording covers of entire albums in one day, releasing them on the internet. but yeah no original all original studio album in what 4 years now? seems to tour all the time though.0 -
loser may be the song he's known for on his gravestone, and that could be a good or bad thing. but do you all remember that song when it actually happened? i remember it. Such a strange time period.0

If you haven't already, you might want to look into Charlotte Gainsbourg. She's essentially his new muse and he's on both of her recent albums as a collaborator and producer.0 -
I think his "Modern Guilt" record is good.PJ: 10/14/00 06/09/03 10/4/09 11/15/13 11/16/13 10/08/14

Saw him back in 2005 when he opened for the Rolling Stones in Toronto. Him and his band were friggin' insane. Opened with Loser, Where It's At and Devil's Haircut (kind of let's get the hits out of the way and see where we can take this show). Great show, too bad it was at the SkyDome in front of half-empty house.Ottawa 2011

He has a new single out "Looking For A Sign" It's for a film called "Jeff"

Once he fulfilled his contract he retired from touring, just preforms when he wants to now. He's focused on being a producer now and spending more time with his family.0 -
