I think his "Modern Guilt" record is good.
Listening to the vinyl version of that right now. It's completely solid, from start to finish. Don't know why but this album reminds me of "Mutations" for some reason.

I've got all of his stuff on vinyl except Midnight Vultures and Mellow Gold. I really dig 'em all except for the Stereopathic Soul Manure, which seems more experimental for him than anything. And I don't like Vultures as much of his other albums either, although it does have it's moments for me still.

Sea Changes, the 'Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab' pressing, is a must-have. It may be thee best *sounding* album in my collection of about 2000-2500 LP's.

are all great. Odelay is my favorite. All his wax is expensive.

I found a promo 12 inch single of where it's at. for 3 dollars. The owner of the shop was clueless. He put it in the bargain bin.

he also performed the unreleased song "evil things".

just the second time ever perfroming it. The first time was with Ed Ved doing backing vocals.

hope that song is on the new album and there is a guest vocalist :)
“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”

I've listened to it three times and it's absolutely amazing. Sort of has a Sea Change feel to it. Very mellow.

Those saying it's similar to Sea Change are spot on. Beck even used some of the same musicians. I know that Sea Change was the result of a divorce, I hope something similar didn't happen because Morning Phase is beautiful albeit very depressing lyrically.

Anyone know where I can get Sea Change on vinyl for under $100 on mofi. I already have the first Geffen press but completely ignored the mofi reissue. Regretting that now as it is suppose to sound fantastic. My personal favourite is the lo-fi k records Beck stuff. I also have a spare Looking for a sign 7" if anyone is looking for it. PM me for details.
