    Section 114 Row 2 Seat 3 & 4 - Great 10c Tickets!!! My number is 304XXX.

I was about 20 rows back on right, with a great view of the stage. I felt like I was at eye level with Ed...

Any other 114'ers out there?? We had a pretty decent vibe going where we were.

I was Section 114, row6. Me and the guy next to me were the ones starting the "Drop the Leash" all the time... we got little back up on that but you can hear us pretty loud on the bootleg.

Listen to Crazy Mary right after Ed says "Lets play something else" and before he says "That is too bad b/c Boom........."

Our section was rockin, the floor was literally shaking when everyone was dancing.

I was at the show and words cannot describe it.

I need to let this one sink in for a bit before I can post a review.

I'm just absolutely speechless! Best PJ show I've ever been to!

I'm kinda surprised that you were at both Borgata shows and still call Philly the best you've ever been to. I thought the Philly show was fine, but aside from a handful of rarities, everything else was a repeat from the Borgata shows. How can Wachovia compare to seeing them in a venue the size of a high school auditorium? Friday's Borgata had to be the best ever.

I'm still disappointed I went to three shows in a row, and no Black and no Indifference, which were pretty common on this tour. I haven't seen them do Indifference in almost 10 years.

STILL, I feel super privileged to have gone to the last three shows on this tour. If I didn't have to work Wednesday and Thursday, I'd be in Chicago. Sucks being a grownup and having to work, don't it?

im really confused on the seating now...i had floor seats however it looks like some of you that had lower 10c #'s than i had 100 level seats, also some of you that had a higher # that mine also had seats in the 100's.....???

  • He he, Saturday was my 7th PJ show, Monday my 8th. I don't know how these boys keep doing it up like they do! I always go thinking, well nothing can top LAST time...but they always do :) The two shows together made the perfect PERFECT perfect experience. I can't stress perfect enough.

I do have to say that I HATE the Wachovia Center. I was bottom row of the upper level, section 214 for anyone who cares, on the side of the stage, and everything was SO MUFFLED. Not to mention we were afraid to stand up for fear of toppling over the super short plastic barrier thingies (they were about knee high) so we were repressed seat dancers. Totally worth it though. Oh and for anyone wondering about the bootlegs...definately go for it. We'll never see a set list like that again. (And for anyone still in the area...WYSP apparently broadcasted the entire show live last night are are supposed to be replaying it again tonight.)

I can't complain too much though...Just LOOK at the sets they played! I wasn't supposed to be at either of these shows. I was swindled for $300 bucks for Borgata tickets a while back and gave up when they sold out. But the gods were smiling on me this weekend I guess...I got my Philly tickets on Friday from a friend who had someone back out, and I got a call Saturday, 6:30 pm that a friend of a friend of a friend had extra Borgata tickets...Blew a tire on the expressway, abandoned my vehicle, called a cab, my truck was towed. Total cost of these shows together =about $1000. Seeing your personal gods play the GREATEST shows ever twice within a 3 day period (once from about 20 feet away whoo hoo!) = PRICELESS

My thought on that is 10C gave some people with lower 10C numbers low side stage seats which have been views than the back of the floor seats.. just a guess.

to ppl who are saying the sound was muffled....earplugs really help. I wore them in both ears all night and I could hear just fine. When I only had one plug in, the sound was hurting my left ear. Don't know how you guys can listen w/o them but then again I never wore them for 20 years.
Sometimes my husband was putting his fingers in his ears and I said, "what are you doing!" and he said he could understand ed better.
By the way, my husband isn't a pj fan and he loved Blood last night. He told me he had a really good time. I did too!

Let me first say that the band was awesome and it was a great set-list. The crowd on the other hand left A LOT to be desired. Many "fans" in my section and in the sections around us were totally dead for most of the night other than for the hits. Most of the fans in our section were more interested in Eagles and Flyers chants than they were in the show. I hate to say it but the lack of energy from the crowd did take something away from this show. I saw the band in Toronto 2 weeks ago and this set list was much better than Toronto but the energy in the crowd made all the difference in the world. Another thing was the sound at the Wachovia Center wasn't too great. This show should have been at MSG.

I don't know how Toronto was but I am curious to know what unfortunate section you were in b/c from where I was the whole place seemed to be rockin'. The sound at Wachovia SUCKED!!! Great show nonetheless!

It's true. The distortion in 205A was bad, but earplugs helped to filter that out.

I began wearing earplugs about 5 years ago b/c I had to keep saying "what?" to everyone. Also, I used to have terrible ringing in my ears. Last night, back at the hotel, my husband did not hear a guy who asked him THREE times to push the elevator button for him! I have terrible hearing and I heard him b/c I wore earplugs.

  • great show … the boot does it justice, the WC does not ; the sound was suspect. could have been where I was seated …

I bought my tix after 2 pm yesterday— sec. 123 row 4 — i even made the crowd photo within the boot batch (Mike looking at us) … Mike was going off the whole show …

last night I walked out thinking, I've heard Ed in much better form … but after hearing the boot I recind those thoughts … he sounds good, but not great tho.

unbelievable setlist … my buddy is a casual fan looking for the hits and he loved the second half a lot (I think he just had to stop drinking and pay more attention to the songs that were new to him, took him a few songs to realize this) …

got back to NY at 2:10 am … surprisingly, I feel great today.

I had section 124 row 5, fan club # 318,XXX. I liked it better then the floor at the Borgata for the sight lines, but I liked the Borgata for the old GA feel. I felt bad going nuts in the seats worrying if I was going to hit someone in front of me. No incidents so everything was fine. I thought the show was great as well, but the sound was distorted. I didn't really notice it until after the amp blew up during Crazy Mary. I am just curious if that had something to do with it.

My only complaint was when two guys crashed our row and felt we didn't need the space our seats gave us. Why do people think they can share seats? It is bad enough dancing around in the alloted space the seats give us but when someone bogarts on that space it makes even harder to go spastic with out bothering other fans. Just go to the seats you got and better luck next time. Thanks to John for taking care of those lost boys.

It was good to meet some fellow jammers. I hope to meet some more on the next tour.

I just got home... or rather, I am sitting in the library at school, because I have a test in an hour. Flew out of Philly at 640, 3 hour layover in Atlanta, and now I am back in Tampa.

The last few days is a blur... the shows were amazing, I don't know if there is anything left to be said... just great shows, Philly was a true gift to the fans. I think after Philly I have a new found respect for how much Pearl Jam actually does try to give a shit about their hardcore fans.

But anyway... Big thanks to everyone we met in A.C. and Philly... Mylips for the ride, Solat for the ticket upgrade, everyone else we talked to or hung out with between the two nights. That kind of community of fans is about the best thing that comes from these shows and this music. It was really cool meeting all you people and putting faces to the names... I hope to see eveyone at shows again in the future. Laura and I had an amazing time...

  • wow what an unbelievable show last night. theres not much that i can say that hasn't already been said on here. it was great hearing ed talk about the hershey 03 concert and the girls mosquito bites, if you were at hershey you know what he's talking about. it was just an incredible show. the man trilogy was awesome and there is no better closer than RITFW and yellow ledbetter. i always thought hard to imagine was a decent song until i heard it last night, it really blew me away live. alone was great to hear too and of course crown of thorns was pretty rare also. it was great to see the band so into the show, they looked like they were really having a great time. the crowd was great although i don't think it matched the crowds in canada, but thats just my opinion, it definitley didn't take anything away from the great show that pearl jam put on as always. it was also great to hear ed talk about the phillies, that was good stuff. what a show.

I'm trying to think of WHY I could not get 10club seats for last night. Maybe they were on sale when I was at work and I was scared to do that at work. Is a NO NO.
My 10club seats at Pittsburgh 2003 were ok, kind of high up on stone's side but we had our own potty and own food vendors (i think they were club seats but not as nice as our club seats last night) but DEFINITELY closer in Pittsburgh.

Section 103 last night was not bad at all!! I would never, ever complain about the location because I had worse seats in Reading last year and it was to date one of my most favorite PJ shows ever! But as I've been saying everywhere, I just wanted to be closer to the 10c sections just to be closer to diehard fans! I wouldn't care if the 10c section were in the 200 levels and that's where my seats were....I just wanted to be with other diehards! But the show last night was priceless....just absolutely amazing!
