They'll be a freaking juggernaut if they can ever get their offense clicking at the same time.

Hopefully they can get the bullpen issues worked out. Mujica's stepped up nicely, but it's still a little shaky.

Was looking for that "Milwaukee Brewers-America's Team" thread yesterday. Didn't sound like they were even Milwaukee's team this series. Heard alot of cheering for the Cards.

    Official scoring rule 10.12 (A)(1)

That is that an error can not be given on a mental mistake.

I also heard if you don't touch the ball, you can't be given an error

seems like they do give errors, however, for a ball thru the shortstop's legs :?

i am glad the cards decided to show up tonight. their bullpen was virtually unhittable tonight. i have watched this bullpen all year and those two guys tonight looked great.

    papi is on fire though....

    best of 5 series now...

hopefully, whoever wins wins in as few games as possible....i can not wait to get rid of this playoff beard i'm rockin!!

So much for the improved at bats. I think some of Lester's goop is stuck to Descalso's shoulder. What was he watching?

I was bummed after goin down 3-2 and even more bummed now that we're done, but I heard something that Whitey Herzog said after the Dinkinger game...."if you guaranteed we'd be in game 6 of the WS, back in March, I'd take it every time."

Great year. Lotsa guys stepped up and 3 pretty legit MVP candidates. Molina should run away with it, with his offensive production, his defensive skills and the way he handled the young pitching staff, but I'm afraid him and Carpemter will split some votes.

What a great future we have. Awesome young pitchers with that veteran ace holding it down. Craig and M Carpenter as nice offensive centerpieces.

Some tweaking in the coaching staff is needed. The hitters that needed coached in the playoffs just didn't get the right buttons pushed. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to a lot of Matheny's pitching changes.

With their offensive numbers and pitching performance, they could've run away with the division.

What should they go after? Who is out there to sign? Who should they dump?

Left side of the infield is their most glaring weakness.

I wouldn't mind keeping Beltran for the right price and not sure who else is out there to fill the hole he does. Even if his regular season numbers slip, he shows up in the playoffs, and I think they should think about that.

It's kind of an east coast thing, but for sure a boston thing, but their fans enjoy rubbing in defeat more then they enjoy that their team actually won. It's strange. I can't imagine going to another city, having my team win, and the first thing I do is go fuck with the losing team's fans.
