 ...do you know where the "calling Ulf" expression came from? I can't wait to enlighten my family with this info. 8-)
...My family lived in Munich for several years in the early 80s. From the pictures it appears my parents had a lot of fun. 8-)

you can make the name Ulf sound like you're throwing up

:lol::lol: I do believe my siblings and I may have a new way to mess with my dad. ...That is so funny. ....In Swedish Ulf means "wolf". I just tried it- calling wolf works too. 8-)

The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

St. Patrick's Day 1995. I spent about a month in England. My buddy and I decide to spend a few days in Ireland and what better time than for St. Patrick's Day in Dublin. I think the last time I saw my buddy that day was around 2 in the afternoon and the last thing I remember from that day was doing a group hug with a bunch of strangers in some pub singing Sonny and Cher's I Got You Babe. I have zero idea how I got back to my hotel because the hotel was about 8-10 miles from downtown and involved a train ride.

    Man I love this thread!

A somewhat embarrassing one for me. I'm riding in the backseat of a two door car leaving a bar while in college. My roommate is in the front passenger seat and a girl he met at the bar is driving. I was drinking a beer in the backseat (I know...young and dumb) so I finish it and don't feel so well. I don't have a door or window to lean out of so I decide I will puke in the beer bottle. Well...have you seen Pulp Fiction? You know the scene where John Travolta accidentally shoots the guy in the backseat and the brain matter and blood goes everywhere...that's what happened but with puke. Back windows...all over the back of the front seats...all over my face. It was disgusting but in hindsight...:lol:

My favorite! Oh the memories!:lol::lol::lol:

Hmmm... trying to think of one where I come off in a positive light but can't. Some of you have already heard the story of me vs the video game...
Last year (yes that recent) I had little - ok a lot - to drink and ended up dancing in only my bikini bottoms on a bar whilst simulating (just to make it very clear it was all faked!) lesbian sex with a complete stranger
I don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!

So we get to my dorms and we have to check in my buddy from North Dakota. The guy at the front desk goes, "room number please." My other buddy goes starts giving the guy his phone number....

"No room number.... Not phone number"

    "0h.... uh..... 305"

You'd have to be here.... What a great night it has been.
