A home state show in Portland would be great! It sure would beat the 2 ½ hour drive to the Worcester show.Aug. 05, 2016 - Fenway Park, Boston

I posted this in the other Maine thread.
They need to come back to Maine, was my first show and just to make my point I brought a sign to Worcester night 1, displayed it on the rail and Jeff looked and me and said, "you're right, we do need to come back." Lets hope that happens."If Hope Could Grow From Dirt Like Me, It Can Be Done."0 -
I will also lend my house and 5.5 acres of land for camping, I'm 45 min to Portland and 1.5 to Augusta."If Hope Could Grow From Dirt Like Me, It Can Be Done."0

I have a few acres of wooded bliss also, but to camp here, you would have to share space with raccoons, foxes, fishers & a black bear we named Hallie Beary.Aug. 05, 2016 - Fenway Park, Boston

Well I'm going to try and keep this alive with some Maine facts. Our flower is the pine cone and tassel and our bird is the Black Capped Chickadee."If Hope Could Grow From Dirt Like Me, It Can Be Done."0

Okay, here are a few more for ya :
• Maine is most famous for - Lobster (known around these parts as Lobstah)
• Maine is larger in size than the other 5 New England States combined
• Maine is the only state in the U.S. with one syllable & only 1 state that borders it
• Maine produces 90% of the country's toothpick supply
• State Cat - Maine Coon
• State Animal - The Moose
• State Insect - Honeybees (locals would tell you it is the mosquito)
• Steven King is a resident of Bangor, & George Bush Sr. has his summer home in Kennebunkport
… and we can’t forget to mention the whole Zumba thing in Kennebunk!Aug. 05, 2016 - Fenway Park, Boston

The guys from Seattle would feel right at home here - we get way too much rain during tourist season, and plaid & flannel were the official clothing of Maine way before it became popular by the whole Grunge phase.
Isn’t Maine the leader in finding unique uses for duct tape? … like as an art medium, for vehicle repairs & for first aid
And I think Maine is the only state where blue tarps are an acceptable form of roofing
Us Maine-iacs are a bit odd & we may talk funny, but we sure do like our Pearl Jam, ayuh! Please come back to Maine!Aug. 05, 2016 - Fenway Park, Boston

I'll be there"FF, I've heard the droning about the Sawx being the baby dolls. Yeah, I get it, you guys invented baseball and suffered forever. I get it." -JearlPam09250

i don't believe Portland or Augusta would happen unless they play on the Prom in Portland. or if they all of a sudden decide they don't want to keep selling out arenas and want to play places that hold less than 8,500 people (i realize they've done this before but not recently and/or often). I think The State Theater is completely out given if holds less than 2,000. the Prom and the Bangor Waterfront are the best two options IMO. oh, and Merrill Auditorium = Eddie Solo. . . .perfect venue for thatit's a fragile thing, this life we lead.

How about an intimate show at the Criterion Theatre in Bar Harbor for restoring the venue to its former glory?
It would have to be an acoustic show. I'm pretty sure that house of cards would cave if they went electric.I SAW PEARL JAM0
