Add this fan to the list. This "Limited" approach makes no sense with a release like this. They've never really done it with an album (yet) so why with this DVD/Blu-Ray? And I agree those fans against a reissue need to relax with the contest. Put all yr Posters into yr Backpack with yr Reenk Roink and have a cup of tea

What annoys me the most is that every time I spend a lot on an item through the 10c, the item doesn't sell and I see it 3 months later for 30% off or with some special bonuses (i.e. vs/vitalogy special editions, and pretty much everything else that's been rereleased in the last 2 years) and end up spending too much money or missing out on some extra bonuses because I was a big enough fan to buy it in the first place. The one time i hesitate a couple days, it sells out!

I was the one suggesting they had a deal with Best Buy not to sell since it is an exclusive Bluray.

Interesting thing I noticed while playing the PJ20 Movie Bluray last night
(I got from Best Buy) is it is in a thin packaging and when you open it and look at the disc there is a 1 on it? So either


Best Buy will also eventually sell 2 & 3 in the future as well? The Deluxe set would still be limited but the individual copies would be available they did this with DVD for the nightmare on elm street box set.

It was a production decision being it is the same movie? However the really thin paper disc case kinda seems weird for a best buy exclusive?

There’s some here who didn’t sign it per se but are obviously in favour of a restock from their comments. aus_suz, I didn't include postcounts since I was already half way through when I noticed your post and I just couldn't go back through the previous pages :crazy: But I can tell you that there was a huge number of posts with small postcounts.

So 300 + peeps would like another batch made. Considering some want BLURAY and some DVD that doesn't seem like nearly enough demand to print more. I'd say 10C did a pretty good job in selecting the number to be printed. Imagine if they printed 1000 more of each the BLURAY and DVD...they'd be stuck with a bunch of dead inventory. For all the fuss that has gone down in the last couple weeks it seems to me like it was way overblown. I guess it means that those who ordered multiple copies won't be fetching as much money as they once thought. I predict you'll get these on eBay for just over cost in due time.

Anyway, to answer your question, mr_canada: it's not because 317 members asked for a reissue that these are the only 317 who will potentially buy it. I'm sure that a huge number of fans didn't sign and would be glad to buy a copy.

But what about all the people who don't post here? And the people who aren't in the club but may still want to buy? I'd say 317 is a fairly good number from just a petition limited to these forums.

And I'm sure if there is a 2nd pressing of these, then we'll get a balance of DVD and Blu-Ray. I don't think we'll just get one or the other.

It's confirmed now that the sets ARE NOT numbered. So what gives Ten Club? What's stopping you from another pressing? Even enough to cover the demand of all the people in this petition would be fair.

This sounds like a pretty definitive answer to me (for now).


Are you really going to email everyone's message board handles to all these people and hope that you get your way? This much energy can be going to a better effort that matters more than obtaining a video package and antagonizing "10 club".

I have no doubt this material will be available to everyone before long. Patience. 10c has already provided all the information they care (or are permitted to) provide. Its not like they are going to get flooded with more emails, and as a result feel forced to green-light the production-line at Sony to press 317 more copies.


I dont mean to sound like Im putting anyone down, Im not trying to. I just think there is a point you may be hurting your 'cause'. All the parties are well aware that there is a demand for the full package. They have been flooded with comlaints and emails. If the logistics of it and the desire are there, they will print more copies. It is also very possible that the content will be released under different covers in the near future... and they need the initial sales window to pass.

BTW if you assume only 317 want it b/c that is the petition think of how many non-members already ordered a set most likely causing it to go out of stock before all Ten Club members were able to receive funds to purchase a set.

Add my name to the list as I have bought the Itunes vesion, the Blueray, the book and the klausen book recently. PJ is definitely my drug and I cant wait to hear reviews from disc 3. Here is hoping we get our wish and they make some more copies. Happy Halloween everybody.

Even the PBS airing at then end said go to Pearl Jam.com to buy the movie. I am sure they wanted to leave Best Buy out of the airing but still. Point is Pearl Jam.com is public.

Granted it was sold out WAY before this airing, but the fact anyone could go to Pearljam.com to purchase a deluxe Limited edition, selling it out before fans supporting the band during the "years of NSYNC and Britney Spears" could have a chance. I mean 70 bucks is not pocket change in this economy, expendable income isn't readily available nowadays.

I then asked if the petition was worth the effort and she said they read everything on the boards and that to keep checking back daily. She did not know if they were going to release the other two discs separately. So I hope our voices are heard and they release some more copies. She also was curious to see what was on disc 3. I will continue to check back on the boards for ther latest news.
