TAKE THAT SEASON 6 DOUBTERS!!!!
I knew the writers would please.....this is so bad ass
Oh yeah! I'm absolutely loving this season, so far. The ending of tonight's episode was great (I was slightly worried Dexter would choose the light) Awesome moment and great shocker with Dexter's new vision.
Previews for next week look great! Poor Travis..Something tells me he may not be around much longer. I don't think Gellar takes disobedience well.
I've read that too, but if that's the case who tied up the girl Travis liked? I suppose if Travis is crazy he could have blacked out, but I dont know if I buy it just yet..guess we'll wait and see.The camera also showed Gellar watching Travis have sex...he wouldnt be watching if he wasnt real..unless Travis was imagining him watching.. :? :geek:
The Gellar being out in public supports that theory though..and so far..I don't think we've actually seen Gellar do anything to anyone or see anyone acknowledge his existence have we? It's always been Travis. Hmmmm....really can't wait to see where all this goes. Again, excellent season so far.2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City0 -
Yea the episode was ridiculously good. Especially the last five minutes. Hard to be what is going to happen next besides a road trip!
I like the Gellar theoryE. Lansing-98 Columbus-00,03,10 Detroit-00,03 (1&2),06, 14 Cleveland-03,06,10 Toledo-04, Grand Rapids-04,06 London-05, Toronto-05, Indianapolis 10, East Troy (1&2) 11, Chicago 13, Detroit 14

But will it be better then Season 4? That's the question. Has some potential.E. Lansing-98 Columbus-00,03,10 Detroit-00,03 (1&2),06, 14 Cleveland-03,06,10 Toledo-04, Grand Rapids-04,06 London-05, Toronto-05, Indianapolis 10, East Troy (1&2) 11, Chicago 13, Detroit 14

Better Dan wrote:Just caught up on the last two episodes and really enjoyed them. I just wonder why Dexter didn't make Travis drive him to Gellar or at least tell him where Gellar would be.
Because at this point I'm not sure they realize Travis is working Gellar, and also, Dexter is kind of working 'on the side', rather than officially with the department knowing.R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.

No comments on Dexter yet?
I thought last night's episode was one of the worst episodes in a long time...maybe the worst ever. It may be that I was listening to the Buenos Aires show while watching Dexter...but maybe not. Not sure why Dexter had to go to Nebraska..I mean people are murdered all over the country all the time..why revisit that family's storyline? The episode also didn't really add anything to this season's overall arc...nothing new with the Gellar/Travis storyline...just the same ol' same ol'...it seemed like it was just written to take up a slot rather than move anything along.
I may have to watch it again but that scene where "Rudy" got the rake seemed to be incredibly stupid. Dexter looked kind've far from it and why wouldn't the man just shoot Dexter as he was reaching for the weapon..it seems like Dexter would have had to step back to grab the rake as he was further from it than "Rudy." Also, Dexter decides to leave town for 5 days without any prior notice and the sitter doesnt think its weird and just agrees to babysit the entire time? Didnt seem very realistic to me....
What I am liking this season are the little touches that make Miami Metro more realistic than it has been in prior seasons..like clearing off the homicides from the white board and the lieutenant hearings. Reminds me of the things we saw in The Wire.2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City0 -
I think the trip to Nebraska and the whole interaction with his brother is setting something up down the line.0

It was pretty fucking ridiculous with the dead brother....I was actually a lot more interested in what the other characters were doing instead of Dexter.0 -

"Rudy" throwing a trash bag while Dexter was walking away, "Rudy" eating a burger, "Rudy" disappearing behind the car, "Rudy" in the mirror at the store while waiting for Dex.... :? I know...it was a little much. In the one scene, "Rudy" was sitting there eating a cheeseburger wearing a 'Nebraska is for lovers' t-shirt. I don't know what the hell the writers were thinking...0 -

I guess had the camera moved really fast to the right like it did in that barn we would have seen it was really dexter eating the burger, despite the fact that he was walking towards the door...2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City0 -

I actually thought that scene was great. I think it just means his dark passenger controls him more then you think is all.E. I didn't really like this episode as much - it seemed a little contrived - maybe a little of Rudy would have been okay, but there just seemed too much of him. But I guess Rudy in this was kind of like the guy in Fight Club who 'starts' fight club, but was really part of the main guy. (I forgot their names!) I like the religious plot with Travis and the professor better.R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.

I'm starting to hate Dexter. He's becoming a fairly unsympathetic character.0

I agree after last night. And it's been renewed till season 8.
I'm starting to think Deb's on to something with him.
It's obvious LaGuerta is covering for Mathews.
This season is sort of losing it now...E. Lansing-98 Columbus-00,03,10 Detroit-00,03 (1&2),06, 14 Cleveland-03,06,10 Toledo-04, Grand Rapids-04,06 London-05, Toronto-05, Indianapolis 10, East Troy (1&2) 11, Chicago 13, Detroit 14

My daughter out of the blue last night told me she thought that Gellar was like the guy in Fight Club, ie., that Travis is really the main killer and Gellar is an imaginary character. Her point was that no one else has seen Gellar. It weirded me out a bit since I mentioned Fight Club last week. I wanted to say okay who chained Travis to the floor then, but....I liked this week's episode better than last. Rudy needs to be gone for good - he was interesting in the first season, but he's done at this point IMO.R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.

Yeah, I don't know about 2 more seasons after this one (which has been pretty bad so far).
I was thinking that LaGuerta is covering for Angel...but Matthews does have that history w/ prostitutes.0
