A great time had by all. See you soon Vini!

THe new Summit was also tried. It gets an "Eh" in my opinion.

Triple B Burger is the best burger in town.

The Summit Saga? Get with it DZ! That' ain't new. It's been "eh" for a while now. ;):D

Joe.. get with it! Summit has a new release from its Unchain Series- "Biere de Garde". I tried it last night while you males had the Saga. I love the Saga.. the Biere de Garde, which DZ was referring to, was definitely "eh" but not toooo "eh". It's dark. I'd probably have another.

    Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.

First. I think everyone here can agree that Surley is the hipster beer of choice.
Second. Saga and Summit in general are very good. You just don't like beer all that much. Which is fine.
Third. Your beard is longer than mine because I have to answer to The Man at work, but I've decided to push my luck and let it grow.

So, it's on, Joe. Ryan. Anyone else. It's on.

Does anyone think we should mind our manners and change the title of the thread from "Pearl Jam - Play MINNESOTA!" to "Pearl Jam - Please play Minnesota!" ?

I seem to remember a few years ago someone gave Ed a shirt that said "Play Alpine Valley" and he responded with something along the lines of, "We only take suggestions, not orders."

It used to be "Please Play..." Too polite. Capitalized "MINNESOTA." More eye catching. Ed's got plenty of reason to like it here; he won't decide not to because we didn't say "please," so no need to pander. It's all about product placement.

They'll play here when they play here. Let's talk beer again.

I know. That's why you're the ultimate hipster. Complicated shoes, good beard, love of vinyl...total hipster. ;)

"Check out the new Polly-Anna Pipsqueak...it's from Shit-Shelf microbrewery, well, actually it's this dude's basement, but it's got a seaweed and licorice flavor to it, with just a touch of varnish to give it a twist. 11.9% alcohol. It goes great with ramen and chocolate."

On a sincere note, hoppy indie beer and microbrew beer is killing beer much in the same way that internet is killing music. Way too much access for way too many people is not generally, a good thing for quality standards.

I agree. There are WAY TOO MANY microbreweries in Minnesota. Let alone Minneapolis. Let alone North East. (Sorry, Dooooosie, they arn't all good).

I think there a couple really good breweries that like indie music do different things. Or expand what you think you can do with beer.

Just like there was Days of the New, Candlebox, Seven Mary Three and Collective Soul to Pearl Jam, there are breweries that spit out the same generic styles of "craft beer"

Some microbreweries are well worth the trip and the money it costs to bring a bottle home.

Why are there no bile beer breweries in MN? Maybe that would get Ed here!

I didn't know you could change channels until about halfway through. Big ups to Mike Bloomfield who played guitar on that album.

Maybe PJ can play some Bob Dylan when they come to Minnesota.
