It sounds like most of you got tickets to PJ20...which got me thinking, how did most of you get tickets?

Personally, Hannah came home during her lunch break and tried, to no avail (I was at a conference and couldn't try myself). Unbeknownst to me, she actually secured tickets in the cart, and when I got home, after another 3 hours, I was able to get a broken link to reload and check out the tickets that she had gotten in her cart at around 12:30pm that day.

With so many disappointed people out there, how did you all get your PJ20 tickets?

My story - Wasted nearly a full day at work trying to score tickets playing the F5 game, no luck. Came home at 5:30, pretty frustrated, then found a sneaky link from a fan right here on the forums. Got through and scored tix. Seemed to be a workaround, but it ended up working. I still feel bad for those who didn't score tix - the frustration of that day was like no other. Here's hoping for smoother transactions for the fall tour!

Yeah, that's essentially the same for me. Someone had posted a broken link and by chance, Hannah had gotten them in the cart.

Anyway...it's getting really, really boring around here. I really need some dates to start planning a trip or two (isn't that sad? I just assume I'll be traveling to see them )

when the site got fast for a sec there i made it through all steps and clicked submit, where it stalled. then it went back to the address entry screen (step 1 of purchasing). doesn't look like the order went through.

(the order did not go through, but the tix were in my cart at this point)

at least they seem to be staying in the cart, for now.

around this time pj.com was shut down by 10c to try and fix the problem and the site was to be back up in "the next couple of hours". despite being "offline" we could still refresh.

just had the address page pop up, submitted, got the review page, and then went back to the address page. at least the tix still seem to be in my cart.

you must be lucky. while it's NEVER been like this before (probably the vic show comes closest), there have always been these issues. same type of shit, too. they've had 6+ years to perfect this, and here we fans are in 2011 sitting around our computers hoping for the best. six hours later and i'm making posts about being moderately pleased that tickets are somehow still in my cart.

i just got to a step 2 page for the first time in a couple hours. progress! but then right back to the step 1 address page. defeat!

after this post i left work and went home and had to log back on. those site links that were being passed around helped at this point.

holy shit guys i got a card authorization! eight hours and fifteen minutes after starting this process! now i get to wait for the order page to load to see if they show up in my history!

less than five minutes later 10c announced the sale had been postponed and for people to stop trying.

hey, this newfound accessibility allowed me to see my order history, three hours after i placed it! ha! ha! i have tickets to see pearl jam!!!

That day was a freakin disaster. I burned two of my sick days trying to get tickets. I still have no idea how I scored them.

Yikes! :wtf: That sounds terrible!

I had actually had let my membership lapse (I know, I know!), so just went to the public sale. No issues. A friend that was still a 10C member gave up and just waited for the public sale as well. We all got GA seats, of course, but the second night went to the box office when we arrived and ended up scoring 8th row! Off on the side, but everyone kind of squished in anyways so it was still a pretty good view! It was just awesome to be be around a crowd that was super into what was going on - it's always a bit of a mix on the lawn- so it was well worth it!

I definitely think they will announce the tour in the next week...right....

i was gutted as well! It was the most frustrating experience. On the second day, when it finally went through, it looked as if they were in my cart the whole time and I just needed to get through the purchase point. i was furious! But SOOOOO relieve when i finally had the proof of purchase in the merch history. I hope PJ never lets that happen again :nono:
