I've one word to describe tonight's show, and that's this:

    Piledriver.

Also, the band members were all in great spirits; I don't think I've ever seen Matt so damn happy. See everyone in Edmonton!

Show was outstanding! Loved it when Ed brought a fan on statge to hold the lyric sheet during Parachutes.
Wish I was headed to edmonton.

There was a couple in front of me from Croatia, during RVM, he hurt his ankle. He was at the Stone side of the middle floor section in row 16, if you are on here I just want to make sure you are OK. Hope you enjoyed the show dispite your injury.

The entire thing. First two-thirds was just Ed on acoustic guitar, then the rest of the band joined in.

A couple more things before I collapse in my own bed (what a strange concept! ;)):

    - tonight was my champagne Pearl Jam show: thirty-one years, thirty-one shows.
    - tonight was also the closest I've ever sat: 6th row, right in front of Mike.
    - the sacrificial Pearl Jam virgin was my...uh, well, ex-girlfriend/not-girlfriend/girlfriend-but-we're-on-a-break-so-she's-not-really-my-girlfriend. I don't know how to explain it. Anyway, she had a great time despite only really knowing four songs.
    - the band members were in fantastic spirits tonight. There was a "night two at Alpine" vibe up on stage.
    - three words: Matt Fucking Cameron
    - "It Happened Today" was gorgeous. Total highlight for me.
    - I heard "Big Wave", "Johnny Guitar" and "Search & Destroy" live for the first time.
    - this was the only time I've really seen Pearl Jam after a "normal" day. I woke up; I went to work; I came home; I saw Pearl Jam; and now I'm going to bed. Weird.

    ANYWAY. See everyone in Edmonton!

Wow! What a show. Had a great time and met even more fun people before the show. We sat 16th row on the inside aisle, great seats. Loved watching Ed dance and smile tonight.

Phenomenal show. Great mix of songs throughout, the whole band seemed to just enjoy being there and I finally got to see F*cking Up live. A great night, see everyone in Edmonton.
  • Today was just simply amazing! I've never met any other ten clubs in person before. But I ended up meeting a few at the PJ20 Showing and then by chance ran into them again after picking up my tickets. I ended up hanging out with them the rest of the day until the concert. PJ fans are the nicest and the most easy going people I've ever met! The show was freaking crazy! The energy was nuts, Release and Given to Fly gave me goose bumps. I was completely blown away! The cherry on top of it all is that the poster I picked up is the artist variant! Such an amazing day

    See Everyone in Edmonton!

Hi, there, it's Gordan's wife - thank you for caring... Gordan says that the ankle's not good but he is :)
He was checked by the paramedics on site and released after they put some ice and the bandage on, saying that probably nothing was broken. It hurts right now and it looks bad but we hope it will be better tomorrow and especially the day after tomorrow because we have to go to Edmonton :)

So now I have to find another favorite song instead of RVM ;)

Btw. the show was great, Release just blew me away, it was so emotional...
  • Why is this one of the Greatest Bands of the Last 20 years?

While I was at the Saddledome Box Office Collecting my Fan Club tix, someone in front of me won the lottery = ROW 1 FLOOR.
To listen to the absolute JOY of these 2 guys screaming was fantastic. Pure excitement, and this is hours before the show started.

Thanks to the Band and the TEN CLUB......

I was really happy to get row 6, as well.
    My 47th show.
