Not that a bad PJ setlist will ever occur (they wouldn't play such a show), but I agree, this tour is pretty amazing. Considering how short it is, they are cramming in a lot of different songs, and I am simply going to have to get all the boots. Again. Plus there's still South America.0

Absolutely unbelievable show tonight! Words just can't describe it. Crazy excellent crowd and the whole band was so into it! Ed's definitely feeling better because his voice was outstanding. Went with my friend and used his 10C number and he won the lottery so it was row 9 center for us. Thanks 10C! So many highlights tonight but my top one has to be the REM tribute. Beautiful version of a beautiful song. Must have this boot soon!!!
Incredible story nothingman4. LIght Years was perfect tonight.
Love the poster!
Hey Corey! See you in Edmonton!0 -
Incredible show. "It Happened Today" was a definite highlight. Can't wait for the bootleg!"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

My brother and I ran into Mike early in the day and had a nice chat with him about the city, jobs, and The Bow River. Before he left, I explained to him what I said above, and told him that Deep was Seans favorite song and that he never got to hear it live, and that we were wondering if there was any chance they could play it tonight while all of our cousins were at the show. Not only did they play it, as well as dedicate it to Sean, they did the same with Light Years as well. What an absolute surreal moment for all of us at the show tonight. That is something we will never ever forget, and something we will cherish forever.
Thank you so much guys.
I love hearing stories like this. It makes you love the band that much more.
You guys got an amazing setlist. Sounds like a fun night!0 -
I am keeping my fingers crossed that someone recorded It Happened Today because as I mentioned earlier it was amazing......song of the night for me0

Plus Mike leaving the stage for the finale of Yellow Ledbetter thought that was really cool....0

What a wonderful night. It was really great meeting some of you guys at the preparty.
Congrats nothingman4 on the dedication.
Having Release as the opener the night after the movie release was really special, felt like Alpine for a moment there. Getting to sit up closer on the floor made feeling the crowd energy even better.
Thank you PJ for an awesome night, I will see you in EDmonton. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Went to pick up my 10c tickets, expecting some decent tickets....the machine spits out a pair that say GA-I say what does this mean, there is no GA. The ticket booth lady asks for the tickets back, sees my hesitation and says "don't worry, I'll get you better ones"
Front Row Center! What an experience! Eddie and Co put on an amazing show. Setlist was great. I remembered my decent camera and got some great shots (mostly of Eddie, he was in front of me all freaking night) and was one short of the passed around bottle of wine during Crazy Mary, also caught an EV pick, that I'll be framing on my poster along with my ticket.
Great to hear Deep, I thought RearviewMirror stole the show. Great night all in all, enjoy the rest of the tour!0 -

Hey bro! I recorded the whole thing from 5th row...on a crappy point n shoot, so no idea how the audio will turn out, but I'll try to get it out there tonight. . Just leaving for Edmonton now, Mudhoney tonight then more face ripping Friday! So glad I took these days off!
I brought my 8 year old...she loved it! I think it was a bit long for her...but after sitting down and playing vids for a song or two (), she was back into it. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to the generous guy in row 3 who gave her a Mike pick at the end of the show....she wouldn't stop saying how nice you were for that, and has been staring at it since the show ended.
See you guys tomorrow!0 -

WOW.. that is just awesome. I am a little choked by that of I'm honest, beautiful.
I am probably 4th, 5th manybe even 10th that agree with your statement. I got choked up as well. Rest in Peace Sean. Very special moment indeed.Let's Go Red Sox!0 -
Great fucking show. Looking at the setlist from Saskatoon, I should've tried to make to that one this time around. Still though, last night's show was awesome. It's a shame about R.E.M. calling it quits.
One of my best friends just passed away a week and a half ago, and he was absolutely the biggest R.E.M. that I know of. A few of us even drove to Athens, GA four summers ago simply because he wanted to check out their hometown. So anyway, hearing the news at the show last night, combined with the playing of It Happened Today, was rather emotional for me.
Thanks to the band for another great show. Now onto show number 13 for me tomorrow night....05/30/03 Van, 09/01/05 Gorge, 09/02/05 Van, 09/04/05 Cal, 09/05/05 Ed, 09/07/05 S'toon, 09/08/05 'Peg, 07/22&23/06 Gorge, 06/14/08 'Roo, 08/08/09 Cal, 09/21/11 Cal, 09/23/11 Ed, 12/02/13 Cal0 -
