Once you've gone GA, you'll see how much more energy and atmosphere there is in a building. Seats are good for not having to arrive early and all that, but GA gigs have an energy seated gigs severely lack.
I've seen hundreds of gigs since I was 16 in 1991, and know this to be true.
Can you be tempted back down under if the Big Day Out rumours come to fruition, Rands?
I think your viewpoint of Avocado is evil and wrong, and your review of No Way at the Spectrum '09 is over the top (it wasn't that bad) but other than that, I'm down. We ought to be able to critique a bit.
Absolutely, and of course on the Internet we exaggerate our points because it's more fun that way.
always good to have a good intense PJ convo with another intelligent fan... whether we agree or not... next time we should do this over a beer before a PJ show we are going to[/quote]

Very cool. One day I will get over there and experience the energy.

I agree....as long as I can get the rail....I'm too small to be even a row or two back. I was all for seats etc before 2009....but now I've seen the light....the 2009 tour were some of the best days of my life and I got to be surrounded by friends and enjoy the entire day with them.
if I lived in South Boston I would invite myself out for that beer
