Wait, did Mike even write the lyrics to Faithfull? I know he wrote the music.

    Just the music, I believe.
    Yeah, this.

I never said Mike shouldn't be allowed to write music.

Unless he's churning out more Come Back's or Force of Nature's. He, uh, can keep those to himself.

That's not the point I was getting at.. You don't have to like the song, but comments such as "never be allowed to never write a song again" based on a song that he wrote about something that clearly means something to him is disrespectful..
At this point it might be pertinent to remind you we're conversing via something known as "the internet".
    thanks, i forgot

I guess that would only be true if I went to a ton of shows, :)

Its just funny though - I was talking to someone who had never heard it in like 12 shows, and I swear I've seen it in like 2/3 of my shows. I've also heard Release a bunch because for a long time they opened almost every Chicago show with it, but a lot of people havent heard it much if at all.

Well fuck, maybe he shouldn't be allowed to write lyrics.

Perhaps... but he should definitely write more of the music because he's responsible for some pretty damn good songs.

The production of Binaural is something I love, but only shines on a few songs. My ultimate Pearl Jam wish though would be to hear what Binaural would have sounded like had they not pussies out on Tchad Blake.
