I think every time I hear Unthought Known I hate it a little more.
thought it was beautiful at first but i grew out of it a little less. loved hearing it live though. it'd be better if it were played less imo.
I grew into it a TON on the backspacer tour, and now I'm starting to like it a little less because they play it every show plus EV played it on every solo show.

Same goes for Just Breathe and to some extent the Fixer... may just be I listen to too many boots and follow setlists, but I was hoping they'd get mixed into the rotation like other singles do.

It'll never be good. It's Pearl Jam by numbers, Pearl Jam trying to sound like Pearl Jam. It's uninspired and lacks passion.

Did you say exactly this in the last setlist thread?
    ★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★
    ★ 2009 - Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, Christchurch ★
    ★ 2011 - EV Newcastle, Melbourne 1, Melbourne 2 ★

Yes, and he also chose to avoid my question. Apparently "they suck" is sufficiently self-evident.

I'm growing a little tired of The Fixer and Just Breathe (mostly because my friends play the shit out of those songs), but I love hearing Unthought Known.

They sound too generic to me. Especially coming off the heels of Riot Act and Binaural where the rockers were pretty interesting musically.

Though I do kind of dig Severed Hand, but I think I give it more credit because it's put right next to Life Wasted and Comatose.

Inside Job serves as a sober reminder as to why Mike McCready should never be permitted to write lyrics for Pearl Jam ever again.
