Took awhile was in the "waiting room" for about 5 minutes then tr4ied clicking on tickets and they said there were none available. Just kept on tryign and eventually got through after about 10 minutes or so.

Scored a pair in fan club pre-sale for Soldier Field. $175 face is easily the most I have paid for a non-festival concert.

Excited to see them for the first time. I'm still kicking myself for skipping Lollapalooza two years ago when they were here.

  • My buddies and I bought $55 buckers.

We just want to be in there. I've seen them three times already. I didn't want to miss them, but I didn't want to spend a shit load of cash to see them again in such a massive venue either.

hoping they debut spit out the bone or manunkind at the philly show. Kinda surprised they haven't played them yet.  Actually i don't think they've played half their album yet.

Loving the new record! James sounds amazing and it's a perfect blend of all their styles. I pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition and love how they put the package together. Hoping that they come a little closer on the next leg of the Tour. There's just too much going on for me this year as far as shows go.. Looking at the setlists on livemetallica.com, it looks like they're averaging 5-6 new ones a night, but there's a few songs that have yet to be debuted. Love that they've made MetClub free now, too!

Great show last night, band was on fire, new songs sounded great. Lot of interaction with the crowd. It was incredibly loud. The stage setup is massive. The light show and stuff they show on the big screens is great. Enjoyed Avenged Sevenfold too.

Ed wasn't bullshitting about the climates' trading places between the SE and NW. It has rained 5 out of the last 7 days here in VA and this trend has continued for awhile..

i don't care about the rain to be honest, it's temperature that's gonna suck.  suppose to be in the 50's

Also just found out Avenged Sevenfold cancelled for the philly show.  One of the guitarists wife went into labor.  Although i'm not sure why the whole band had to cancel.  They couldn't find someone to fill in?  like a guitar tech or something?

If anyone is looking for a General Admission Field/ Floor Ticket for Sunday 5/14 at MetLife Stadium in NJ, I have (1) extra.  Face value with fees was 187.   Will accept reasonable offers.

It is a hard ticket, so would need to meet up somewhere before Sunday, or more likely at MetLife on Sunday afternoon.

I saw a lot of fb posts asking why a tech didn't fill in.  Why do people assume that a tech can play everything note for note as the band member.  A tech isn't a backup.  Plus finding a replacement within a day isn't an easy task

I got to the floor around 40 after gates opened and still got a spot on the rail on Kirk's side.  The middle area behind the snake pit was about 5-10 deep at that time.  mostly "enhaned experience" ticket holders.  i got a regular ga and didnt need to be there butt-early to be close.  but again yesterday was a work day.

Thanks for the info!  I have one of the VIP entrances for Atlanta and was wondering when would be a good time to line up.  Would like to be closer to center but as long as i'm on the rail somewhere.

I didn't have GA in Baltimore, but the band moved around pretty evenly throughout that show.  James utilized all the mics on stage.  This made me not worry about being off to the side (in front of the last mic on Kirk's side) last night in Philly.  For the most part, they spread it evenly around the HUGE stage.  Although, towards the end of the show, they seemed to have forgotten about our side of the stage, but still we had a good view of them.  ALSO as a bonus of being on the rail, Kirk will make it rain guitar picks on his side at the end of the show.  Like a red solo cup full of picks

Has it been really crowded in GA?  Going tonight but due to plans with our moms we won't make it till 7:30 or so. Will we have any chance of being able to move around or will we be stuck in the back?
