it's not bad.  It's a stained glass version of the new album theme with all the faces.

I dig this.  It's by no means a steamy pile.

    Good poster!
So I can trace Metallica's album cover silhouette, draw lines all over it, draw wings and nails, draw lines through those too, give it to my 8-year old nephew to color and turn it into a gig poster? AND put it on foil and ask $250?? sweet!
    So you don't like it?
I only like one of their metallica posters so far.  but i bought both metlife and union because i was there.  i dig the union mif theme but the best color combo of that poster is $250.  wrong crowd for those prices and the art is just lazy art

Listening to H..TSD for the first time in a couple of months and so fucking good!!! It was a long wait, but I'm still bowled over by this record! Such an excellent melding of all of their styles. This record sounds so energetic and fresh. James sounds amazing. I can't wait to catch them on this Tour and am so happy that the team that produced the record is now doing the shows. Horns up, mofos!!

didn't mind that too much.  311 has been doing that for years though.

The Edmonton metallica poster looked "great"

Super duper deluxe Master of Puppets out in November. I enjoyed this treatment for the first two albums.

Oh yeah. I ordered from Amazon as soon as it was up for $130 some. I see it's $175 right now. I'm sure it will go back down though.

Too bad Pearl Jam didn't continue with the deluxe reissues.
  •  I have a sealed Ride the Lightning vinyl CD DVD box set and I'm looking to trade for a sealed Kill Em All box set. Any interest?

Hell yeah! I like the fact they've incorporated Through the Never and The Day That Never Comes into the setlists and are playing them right out of the gate for the most part. Seek & Destroy in the 3 spot is really cool too. Leper Messiah and Damage Inc. bustouts as well. Maybe some Disposable Heroes to come...

Also I might be in the minority...but anything from St. Anger would be incredible to hear live at this point. I think Some Kind of Monster, Unnamed Feeling, St. Anger, Sweet Amber, and Frantic would all be interesting.

Take that metallic drum out of the songs and it's an amazing album.

    I love Invisible Kid.

Maybe someone here can help. I went to a record fair this past weekend, and one of the vendors was selling bootlegs. Obvious CD-R bootlegs, right out in the open. No way I was going to support him, but I did notice a Metallica show from January 2000 that I was at. It said FM broadcast, so if anyone can share that with me I would greatly appreciate it!

Saw them at Soldier Field this summer for the first time in 20 years since Lolla when it still traveled and Soundgarden was other headliner......still got it.  Too much video crap distracting from them playing, but tight as ever.

James never seems to get the credit he deserves for his guitar work, he is amazing.  I love him and Stone on Rythm.

New album is my favorite since justice, Moth into Flame may be my second favorite song after Puppets now.

If it was not for Metallica setting the bar so high on live performances for me, I don't know if I ever would have gravitated so much to PJ.  Tallica made me a live music snob in ways, it had to be good for me to give a shit enough to go see them, PJ delivered every time

My ticket to the show was $22.50.  The shirt cost me $20 inside the venue, lol.

Another cool fact is the date I was at the show is not on the shirt.  They added a third day to the Nassau coliseum dates.  Dec 20th for Uniondale was added because the first two shows sold out so quick but it never made it to the shirts!
