While the Giants made the Packers look silly, I wanted no part of Aaron Rodgers, or Drew Brees for that matter, tearing the Pats D to shreds.

I will admit, I would have much rather faced the 49ers than the Giants.

As stated on pages past ... Giants are peaking, guys are healthy, and Eli has some good talent to throw to ... it's a 50-50 game in my eyes ... there is no favorite.

But, better to be there than not be there ... even if they lose.

One thing we got going for us ... so many people took futures out on the Giants when they looked out of it, upwards of 30 or 40 to 1, that Vegas stands to loose a shitload if the Giants win.

I like having organized crime on our side.

Yeah, just read about the Wekler engagement. He also hosted a party and hired midgets as waiters. And he talked about feet last year before the Jets game. Just living the dream this kid is.

So I watched a replay of the Pats v Giants November game last night ... have to say, I was a bit encouraged, notably on the defensive side.

Prominent roles on the Pats D that day ...

Phillip Adams (who was scorched all game, and ended the season on the Seahawks)

Tracy White (all I kept thinking was who the fuck is number 58 and why is he making Jake Ballard look like Ozzie Newsome???)

    Josh Barrett

Sergio Brown (who made the crucial pass interference play on the Giants last drive)

... I didn't even know who these guys were after the game, let alone before it.

This is the game both Patrick Chung and Brandon Spikes both got hurt and missed the rest of the regular season, both are now back. Not all pros, but it beats the riff raff listed above.

Anyway ... 2007 Pats won in the regular season on the road, Gaints won the superbowl ...

Let's hope that trend is compeltely reversed this year.

How is this thread on page 5 the week of the SB? We have moved all the shit talking to the G-men thread it seems.

Is the Gronk family not the funniest group of meatheads ever? I love those guys.

No boot today. He's taking it "day b'day"

This game cannot get here fast enough. Revenge is the best.

Buffalo natives, correct? Also banged a porn star recently? If he didn't play for the Pats, he may be alright.

    Cannot wait for the game.

Yeah, they are from Buffalo. Gordie Gronk and his 4 sons (Rob, Dan, Chris and Gordie Jr.). And yes, Bibi Jones wore Gronk's 87 in that famous Twitter photo.

He's gonna be fine. Give him a cortizone(sp) injection and he'll be ready to roll. He's gonna be smashing those LBs face in come Sunday.

Pats are gonna be rippin' throats on Sunday. There's no way they lose this game. I know jimed is worried (and many others), but I am not. Brady is going to bring the heat in the 1st half and Giants won't be able to keep up. 28-7 at halftime, 41-17 final score. Cue the missing chromosome Eli face!

All decent things in my book. Just a shame that he has to wear that jersey.

I hope he plays and is healthy. Don't want you guys having any excuses ;)

Yeah, Sunday can't come quick enough.

41 points on the Giants D? and only 17 on the Patriots D? In the words of the pretty boy at previous superbowl predictions. hahahahaha.

I honestly don't know which way to go. Giants are really fucking good at the moment, I really like their D and I can't see the Patriots D stopping them for 4 quarters but at the same time, Brady makes me nervous, he's not going to play like he did last game. I think it's a toss up.

Yeah, her interview on Howard was legendary. She basically offered sex to everyone at the studio.

What you need to consider is that the Pats D is opportunistic and should create a few turnovers. I know Eli's been better in the playoffs with the INTs, but he threw a bunch (comparatively) in the regular season and if the Pats score first, or go up 14-0 early, Eli will start taking risks and thats how blowouts happen. I'm sticking by 41-17.

The Giants are a good team but remember, they were a 9 win team this year in the regular season. They basically had a one game playoff with the Cowboys in week 17. Since then they have been pretty consistent on offense and defense. Gronk will play without a doubt and Brady will be at the top of his game. Hopefully that will be enough to top the Giants. 41-17 I think is a stretch for me but I think 31-24 Pats is closer to what it will be.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

Giants are also a lot more healthy. If they were healthy during that tough skid, they'd have like 11 or 12 wins.

ESPN clearly wants the Giants to win this. I can't wait for Belichick to piss on everyone's parade Sunday.

edit: I just cannot understand why ANYONE would bet against Brady/Belichick.
