Well, the lockout is over finally. Now there are lots of trades going on and free agents getting scooped up. The 2 notable pickups by the Pats are Chad Ochocinco and Albert Haynesworth. Hopefully they get their stuff together and can be at the top of their game. Kevin Faulk also just got re-signed which will be huge if he can stay healthy all season. Brady has many targets to throw to this year: Ochocinco, Welker, Branch, Hernandez, and Gronkowski. Sammy Morris and Kevin Faulk in the backfield and a strong O-Line is an encouraging sign of a successful season.

Can't wait to get this NFL season underway.

GO PATS!!!

Absolutely. I can definately see the Eagles representing the NFC in the big game. All his personal shit aside I think Vick is one of the best QB's in the game and has a great chance of leading that team to an NFC championship. And as long as they aren't playing the Pats, I wouldn't mind them winning a SB either.

Pretty convincing win last night. Looks like the Pats starting offense is well on it's way to opening weekend.

I expect a tough game tonight down here in South Florida. The Dolphins ALWAYS play the Patriots tough on Monday Night.

I still expect a 4th quarter Patriots comeback win.

The Pats look pretty good tonight. Solder is doing a great job at R tackle. Brady is in usual form. The Dolphins are by no means a pushover team. The AFC east has some talent this year. Haven't seen Ocho catch any passes yet, was hoping for a long bomb from Brady, but it looks like Gronkowski has those covered.

    Go Pats

Another great win for NE today. The Pats look great for this early in the season. I see the big challenges this year in the AFC will be the Jets and the Steelers. Assuming the Pats can keep this momentum going, they could be on to a very successful season.

Offensively they obviously bad ass, but at some point defense can't be optional, because right now they are living on the edge...of course San Diego makes most teams live on the edge defensively.

If Brady wants to beat Marino's 5,084 passing yards in a single season he would need to average 296 yards pergame for the rest of the season.. Very good chance.

Our defense will come around. Much improved from week 1 and we forced 5 turnovers tonight.. I'm not in the least worried.

I hope to hell he doesn't because if I can recall with ALL the passsing records Marino had he didn't win a single title. That IS ALL titletown is interested in IS winning titles.

The last time Brady had a huge offensive year 17-1 the Patriots ended up short of a title. Give me a fierce defense with a good offense is what I'd rather have than an All World only offense.

I think you're getting at something here...the Colts have become the Jets, the Pats have become the Colts, and the Jets have become the Pats (with a QB who has the ability of a pre-roided up Brady and without the ability to read the defense or even be the slightest bit competent). Point being the Jets have literally designed their team around beating the Pats, much like Bellytits did years before in regard to the Colts. However, with Suckchez they can somehow beat the Pats b/c of their shitty D, but can't really beat everyone.
