That explains a ton. I was just as excited for summer blockbusters at that age..... Enjoy your youth!

haha I will but that has nothing to do with it. I'm just a huge fan of marvel comics and (to me at least) they did such a great job making the movie feel like a moving comic book. Maybe that's why I like it so much more than some of you guys? Cus it has such a comic book feel to it? I don't know and really I don't care I just know I love it and can't wait for more!

Check out the link below where Joss Whedon (writer-director of The Avengers) talks to his fans and then they talk back to him. :D

    This is kinda interesting.

    (From Article)
You know all that military action that goes on in a lot of Hollywood blockbuster films?

Well, the U.S. government usually likes to get involved to help filmmakers more realistically portray it.

This was not the case with "Marvel's The Avengers." The U.S. Defense Department pulled out because they deemed the film too unrealistic. ( :ugeek: compared to the other very 'realistic movies they have been involved with hehehe)

Perhaps it was the aliens. Or maybe it was the superheroes. Well, it was actually the ambiguity of secret military law-enforcement agency S.H.I.E.L.D., portrayed in the film, that did "Avengers" in.

I thought Avatar was godawful...definitely James Cameron's worst film to date.

Saw it yesterday afternoon. It's fun, and funny. Which I like. I can see the complaints about "lack of plot" etc. But I take that movie for what it is. Just fun. Can't wait for the next one.

And I can't wait for the new Batman...

I caught it last Saturday and it was a good show. It wasn't as crazily amazing as I'd expected, but still a solid 8.5/10.

I'm totally pumped for Thanos in the sequel. That's just badass.

Wished I had gone to the 2D version, 3D action was way too fast and ended up blurry a lot of action scenes. I didn't even see anything 3D worthy.

Funniest part was when Tony and "his girl" kissed, a kid in the theater said, "eww!!" Everyone laughed.
