So glad I did not grow up in the 80s

It's funny at the time you didn't notice, I think it's because everyone looked the same.

I will always remember my frilly shirt and knickerbockers fondly.

Woah! They couldnt get all your hair IN that pic! I had some pics taken for a yearbook in high school and they made me wear a jacket like that for one of the pics..(but it was a mans style of course).. I was so embarrased because my Mom wanted to frame it. Fucking 80's! ;)

This has always been a dilemma. I've had a bad hair day that is going on 47 years now.

Maybe 15 years ago I went short, very short. Started getting a lot of "Can I help you, sir?" (It doesn't help that I don't wear any makeup.) So I decided that now is the time to grow it out.

    I'm aiming for this:

Alas, at the moment, I look more like this:

Which I think we all agree looks great if you're on a stage rocking the guitar, but maybe not so much in a cubicle rocking a keyboard. (Although I do have two huge kick-ass monitors.)

    unlost, you're frickin hilarious

long hair on men can be quite sexy.... but I favor the Eddie Vedder length the most.... :D

If its too long - its almost a rock star look and most men really can't pull it off - just my opinion. :)

Well i try to pull it off, even with my youngest daughter in on the scene stealing the limelight

I've had mine long-ish for a few years, and am currently growing it longer. I absolutely CANNOT stand the way I look with short hair, I either look like a jock or as someone once delicately put it, a skinhead. I love my long hair though.
    Thanks EPOTTSIII!

I'm still trying to grow my hair long as I planned in the beginning of this year, but damn is it hard to do in August, I came close to cutting the other day.

Since I can't wear a hat at work, I've come to embrace the barrette.
  • It all depends on the guy.

Some guys can pull it off and others cannot.

Either way, I don't like anything much longer than above the shoulders.

No, prefer a clean cut man myself. Maybe a little scruff, but definitely not long hair.

    depends on the age.......

No, i've never really cared for it. I don't mind Ed in the Yield days, a little long but not that God awful look he has now. He looks 10 years older than he is right now.

YES!! Ed during his Yield years is the best!!

So obviously you hate Jesus. It's OK. As good Christians, we forgive you.
