Funny you should post this today. I just cut about 9 inches off in a drunken stupor this past Saturday. It's currently in route to Pantene Beautiful lengths to hopefully make a wig for a chemo patient :)

    +1
Lots of love, light and hugs to you all!

I love all kinds of hair. Long, short, coloured, whatever. If the person is AWESOME, it just doesn't matter to me.

I love my husband's shaved head, and I love Ed's long hair.

I hope the guys who do keep their hair long send you great photos!

i wore a hat for a lot of the "crap" phase.
Yeah, pretty much anywhere I can get away with it, I'll put on a hat.

I can't wear one at work, so I've started showering at night rather than in the morning because the cleaner my hair is, the stupider it looks.

    LOVE long hair....LOVE!!!
Of course, the hair needs to be beautiful, but sure, love it.
Sadly, many jobs just not possible. My husband cannot grow his hair past his collar due to his line of work. When we first met, he had the cutest white blonde curls.....mmmmm.
If you're lucky enough to have a job that is lax about hair length and you have beautiful hair, yes, do grow it!

Btw we women also suffer when growing our hair out.
My hair is LONG nowadays. I've also have had my hair practically shaved, hey it was the 80s.
At this point I am hesitant to cut it because I know how long it will take to grow back. However, I can't straighten my hair forever, so eventually I'll have to go for the big chop and then let it grow. Figure donation time when that rolls around. Maybe when I turn 45.

I decided back in March to let the beard and hair grow. I feel like the geiko caveman and its getting hot. But I will surprise the hell out of everyone when I lose my homeless look soon. Too hot here! 8-)

I'm not sure why you're laughing. If he hadn't told us, I'd have never known he was balding.

Seriously, though, that Pantene thing is awesome. Kudos to you for doing that.

I would, but I have really short hair right now and I HATE the look of the "awkward" stage.

    so sorry...but no.

    I have longish hair...probably around 8-9 inches.
I've been fortunate to have good hair, and at the age of 30, it's still as thick as it was when I was 18.

I like it long, but I do hate it at times. The Arizona summers aren't a lot of fun with it long, and it sucks when I'm working out, doing outdoor stuff, etc...but I guess that's what baseball hats are for. :)

No, prefer a clean cut man myself. Maybe a little scruff, but definitely not long hair.

No, i've never really cared for it. I don't mind Ed in the Yield days, a little long but not that God awful look he has now. He looks 10 years older than he is right now.

chlorine eats and dries he hell out of mine. when it isn't about half fucked it is out of control ringlets that i do like. when it is fucked up it is a straw dreadlock type doo which can't be picked out without pulling hair out in heaps. piss me off. and it happened a bit ago while running a hair pick through it while showering after swimming. i have to pick it with conditioner in it.

i've learned that brushing, combing, or picking my hair is bullshit, so i don't fuck with it much. there has been times where i've went many months without brushing my hair. fuckin wild shit on my head, man.

that darn swimming pool gets me a bit cross with what it does to my hair and all, stupid fucking chemicals.

Ok I've had this pathetic crush on a guy at work and he's got long hair which NEVER turns me on. In fact it usually has the opposite effect. I totally dig long-ish hair, like the kind you can run your fingers through or juuuust enough to put in a pony-tail (like ed's) but not long past the shoulders.

    I'm quite surprised
