Why is he shying away from Longing To Belong and Satellite so far?? Two great songs.. not that they are all not great..

    Great show.

    Great set.

Really, who pays $80 to heckle? And shout "play the guitar"? Did they just let meat heads in off the street without telling them what kind of show this is?

Crowd was better than Philly last solo tour but the few chuckle heads that wouldn't shut up are a real drag.

EDIT: I was in Orchestra Row U right side aisle. TC 412xxx

What a grand show. The crowd flipped out completely during Unthought Known. I love that the main set was basically broken up into ukulele songs/random pearl jam/ into the wild/ backspacer. Worked out great. Love the little ukulele.

Some punk had the nerve to boo loudly during Arc. Arc! This leads to ten seconds of people yelling at him and it really sucks you out of the moment.

Amazing set. I was in the 4th row of loge and felt close because the venue is so intimate. Long Road blew my mind. Betterman sounded amazing too. Too tired to write more right this second.

The show was amazing, I thought it started a little slow or maybe the crowd wasn't into it yet but it kept getting better and better, and by the encore everyone was amped and the place was electric. so glad I went, it's definitely a show that I won't soon forget.

About the fake tickets, I unfortunately had to buy a single from a scalper and was hesitant with all the people on the board getting ripped off, but I told him I would get the ticket scanned then come back and give him the cash, and he agreed. It worked and I got in the door. Might want to try that approach if you are buying tix on the street for tomorrows show.

great show ... shitty crowd ... typical morons ... one guy sitting in my row ... for sure a 10 clubber ... i think we've become too spoiled here in the northeast for pj and ev ...

i hope he plays solo in europe or south america ... now, those are great crowds ...

long road for clarence clemons gave me chills .. arc usually does but too many people yelling ... neil finn on for 2 of my favourite covers ... amazing ...

glen - awesome!! ... i expected nothing less and you delivered ...

and to the guy who bought the fake tix ... sadly, i am not shocked this happens ... frig ... a fucking ice cream vendor in central park was ripping people off for a $1 more than the advertised price by saying it was a different size ... fucking scumbags everywhere these days ... i hope karma pays these guys a visit ...

Seriously - I'm not the type to get emotional, but I was all goosebumpy and borderline teary eyed during Long Road

I get that way every time I hear it (even the studio cut), so being treated to it tonight was extra special and very memorable.

Also, this crowd was no better or worse than Hartford (which I also attended). Yeah, scattered assholes throughout (notably the "play Leash, you pussy!" dude behind me) but I think I'm slightly partial to tonight's crowd if for no other reason than I had a better seat and was immediately surrounded by much more respectful people (Orch1, row K).

This show just blew my mind!! So glad I was able to be there. I agree with the others that the couple of drunken assholes were annoying but it seemed that they got the hint pretty fast.

Long Road - Definitely the highlight for me too!!

Now if we could just get some bootlegs for these shows... ;)

Long Road absolute highlight for me too! I was secretly hopeful he would play that, but didn't want to get my hopes up. Also loved Society with Glen Hansard, so much better than with Liam Finn in '08. BUT loved the two songs with Neil Finn. And Without You is now my new favourite song after seeing it on Letterman last night. Such a gem of a song.

Just came back from waiting over 2 hours, and I got to shake Ed's hand and yelled out THANK YOU!!! I hope he heard me. Ed's got soft hands

Oh, and did I mention SWEET POSTER?!?!?!

LOVE the poster! Also just got back from waiting for Eddie, took awhile but at least he took the time to shake everyone's hands. :) Were you able to get any pictures? I left my camera at home because I thought the Beacon would take it at the door...

I think Right Orchestra is a pretty bad place to be at Beacon. I was in Row J all the way by the wall where the ushers/photographers were. I had a great time but definitely felt distracted half the time. People kept meandering back and forth to buy drinks and snacks and then I guess after all that drinking and snacking they had to go pee and stuff. Then apparently people were allowed to stand in the aisle there, so more meandering. And the people by me kept talking!!! And the ushers kept running back and forth to stop people from taking pics.

Loge tomorrow, not as close but maybe less distractions. Cannot wait!!
