First of all Chicago >>>> NY pizza any day.
My fav in Chicago is Pequod's. Deep dish is good, but especially like their thin crust. Mmmm!
I made some awesome homemade grilled pizza last night.
Spicy tomato sauce, really nice motz, a little smoked gouda, red peppers, caramelized onions, kalamata olives, and some sliced tomato.
Mmmmm!0 -

We make our own pizza.
The best pizza I ever bought was in 2006. After the PJ show in Bologna we were walking in the rain to get back to our hotel in Casalecchio di Reno. We found a restaurant (name?) open even though it was late.
The pizza was magnificent! It was right from a very hot, wood fired oven and was topped with simple tomato sauce, basil leaves and slices of fresh buffalo mozzarella melted on a deeply browned crust. Bellissimo!Hold On0 -

Kalamatas are a tasty purple olive from Greece. They are more of a table olive, but they're also awesome on pizza! Mmmmm!0 -

Pizza there and pizza here is probably way different. The only place you can get a large pizza for $10 is like Dominos...or $5 at Little Ceasers..but that is NOT "real" pizza (not by Chicago standards at least!!)Makes much more sense...

I remember getting pizza for $10. Back in college and while wasted after the bars. We'd order up the cheapest pizza we could get our hands on. At the time (drunk as shit) it was good, but MAN...it was terrible pizza!0 -

Grimaldi's opened a location here in Fort Myers last winter and I must say it is definitely good. That said, the best here was Salvatore's before they closed down. Now, my favorite is Birdies Pizza.
My favorite pizza place ever is Mario's Pizza in Winston-Salem and Greensboro, NC. Mmm.Post edited by carolinabeerguy onI wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.0 -

Dominos / Pizza Hut here cost $5-$7.
The very high quality real pizza's at restaurants here are $10 average.Adelaide 17/11/2009, Melbourne 20/11/2009, Sydney 22/11/2009, Melbourne (Big Day Out Festival) 24/01/20140 -

Yeah, I don't eat red meat...and even when I did I preferred veggies on my pizza anyways. You also have a many more creative options using veggies than you do meat.
I'm already hungry for more pizza! hahaha!0 -
