My fav in Chicago is Pequod's. Deep dish is good, but especially like their thin crust. Mmmm!

I made some awesome homemade grilled pizza last night.
Spicy tomato sauce, really nice motz, a little smoked gouda, red peppers, caramelized onions, kalamata olives, and some sliced tomato.

    Mmmmm! :D

Pequod's is so good. The deep dish is the best...that crust is to die for!

Pizza there and pizza here is probably way different. The only place you can get a large pizza for $10 is like Dominos...or $5 at Little Ceasers..but that is NOT "real" pizza (not by Chicago standards at least!!) :D

I remember getting pizza for $10. Back in college and while wasted after the bars. We'd order up the cheapest pizza we could get our hands on. At the time (drunk as shit) it was good, but MAN...it was terrible pizza!

Grimaldi's...once you've had it all other pizza just seems so whatever.

Grimaldi's opened a location here in Fort Myers last winter and I must say it is definitely good. That said, the best here was Salvatore's before they closed down. Now, my favorite is Birdies Pizza.

My favorite pizza place ever is Mario's Pizza in Winston-Salem and Greensboro, NC. Mmm.

Dominos / Pizza Hut here cost $5-$7.

The very high quality real pizza's at restaurants here are $10 average.

Yeah, I don't eat red meat...and even when I did I preferred veggies on my pizza anyways. You also have a many more creative options using veggies than you do meat.

I'm already hungry for more pizza! hahaha!

The above pizza does not look caramelized, rather burned.

Pizza is the bomb. One of my favorite places called Amante's in Raleigh was a 'gourmet' pizza place, and they made this one that was my favorite with feta, spinach, and portabella mushrooms. OMG!! It closed, sadly.

I was skeptical at first, too. And it's not everyone's cup of tea. For instance, my wife generally leaves most of the crust on her plate. But that works out nicely for me, since I'll gladly polish it off for her. Ain't no way I'm letting the dog get that.

Since I could eat solid foods when I was a baby, I grew up eating my uncle's and my grandmother's homemade pizza, so I'm bias towards homemade pizza. My uncle makes the best pizza ever. I'll see if I can get a picture of his pizza next time I go over for pizza and post it on here.

Some restaurants in the Waterbury area that I like are a little place downtown called Domenic and Pia's, which is across the street from school for me. The only problem I have with that place is the pizza is too thin. Another pizza place that's really good is Vinnie's. The pizza is in the shape of a square.
