he has to resign. he is compromised now. he can not defend the progressive ideas that he has so passionately expressed anymore because he is beholden and can be potentially controlled by this little group that has been stalking him on facebook and twitter threatening to release more compromising details. he is screwed...

that is a pretty low trick if you ask me. breitbart is the only asshole in this country that pulls these shenanigans to catch only democrats in situations that would not be an issue if not for him creating these sideshow issues and sensationalizing these things...

agree on most of what you say and i fkn hate breitbart w/a passion. but........this would have gotten to the next neocon numbskull down the block, breitbart is a shitty messenger but a messenger nonetheless. i do wonder why he is going back on his public vow not to release the upclose cok shots and now apparently has.

someone else is pulling his string to bury weiner, and now he is officially dead & bloated, what a doofus.

  • In a way... this could be a very good thing.

If he DOES resign, which I hope he doesn't, he probably ends up with his own TV show. And honestly, I think he might be more effective that way.

    He should resign.

Not because he sent the pictures, but because he was STUPID enough to do so.

In other words, get him out of there because he's not smart enough to be a politician.....oh wait....nevermind.
The only people we should try to get even with...
    ...are those who've helped us.

For the record I talk about how much you care about this story depends on your age. We live in THE most generation-gapped time in human history. Because the internet only came into common use in the last 15 or so years... and that's why if you have grand children, they think you're a loser.

    of course.

Bill Clinton was a fantastic president who managed to give America a surplus. As in... more than they needed.

So Republicans resorted to throwing hissy fits about him getting a blow job.

And now.. our new president has managed to start to turn the economy around and killed Osama Bin Laden, so Republicans are doing the same thing.

Remember that 16% of the country's population controls 40% of the house. All they have to do is fool the idiots in the Red States who are such racist pigs that they're desperately searching for a reason to hate Democrats.. and they can filibuster any and all progressive legislation.

You really think it's just a coincidence that Republicans really only captured the House and not the senate (which is voted by population, not "two per state?"

Considering just how close we were to a complete economic collapse a couple of years ago and the huge loans we gave the auto industry have now been paid off (and a bunch of other indicators that we're seeing signs of real recovery)... yeah, we're in a lot better a place.

    Are we in "good" shape?

No. Not in any way are we in "good" shape.

    "better than we were?"

    Yeah. That we are.

wait until the republicans make us default on our debt by refusing to raise the debt ceiling. any progress we have made would all be for nothing....

Gross is a wack job. This is a Drudge Free Report Headline at best. Don't get me wrong the US is not in great shape but we are not worse off than our friends in Greece.

Dude has to mention his Mother twice in his resignation speech?

Hey Weiner, don't you think she's been through enough?

Note to politicians: When resigning b/c you sent pics of your junk to teenage girls, leave your Mom out of the speech!!
