Personally I think he's an arrogant prick, but that's besides the point.
There's such a double standard when it comes to liberal Democrats and Republicans when it comes to issues like this,. I don’t think this is a scandal, but the selective standards of the MSM drive me nuts. Not that long ago there was a congressman that was forced to resign for sending a picture to some chic with his shirt off. But when a Liberal D. Does it its like they play the victim card and then they attack the people who ask questions.
I would think people would be more concerned about this as far as a national security issue if anything.

And didn't Weiner say that "he coudn't say with certitude that it wasn't his photo"?

i don't think christpoher lee was forced to resign by the media. i think it was the gop establishment who quietly but forcefully suggested that he should maybe step down. that is how i remember it, but i could have him confused with someone else.

When you run on "family values", "Christian morals", it is definitely more fun to point and laugh.

The stories aren't that cut and dry.

With the Republican guy, he was touting his "family values" and attacking gay families while he was out trolling for dates on Craig's list, telling women he was single, sending them beef cake face pics.

We're not sure if (a) that's Weiner's wiener and (b) if he sent it to anyone. The only person who claims to have seen it on his Twitter feed is a guy who's job it was to dig up dirt on Weiner... and has since deleted his Twitter account. What's that tell you?

The woman he supposedly sent it to says that no... he didn't.

And the only proof of it's existence is a screen shot that appears photoshopped.

So until anyone knows what happened, it's kinda pointless to be comparing the two. And really... nobody cares. I sure don't.

I sent pictures of my junk to people all the time.

Lee resigned the same day the story broke. I don't know how much influence the GOP could have had because the resignation was almost simultaneous. I think he realized he was an idiot that was going to be persecuted by the media and quit to save further embarrassment. Of course, their was no way disputing it was Lee in the photo because his face was visible, while Weiner only took a picture of his wiener (hopefully there are only a handful of people that make a visual confirmation).

I checked Wiki and Weiner married a long time aid of Hillary Clinton just one year ago ... based on what she went through assisting Hilary, she probably didn't even raise an eyebrow when the story broke. :D

Watching Weiner's press conference right now. Wow again.

However, I have to say - if I were in a boat and Breitbart and Weiner were drowning in front of me and I could only save one of them... bye bye Breitbart.

OK, this is getting more bizarre by the moment ... the editor of BigGovernment.com apparently went to Weiner's conference as an observer ... Weiner was running late ... the press asked the editor to the podium ... wow.

Does Weiner employ the same handlers that were working for Tiger Woods a few years back??? :D

  • If sexting pics of your junk to 21 year-olds who want to see them is grounds for firing, the unemployment rate is about to go WAY up.

You know what? I don't care. It's not like I haven't sexted pics of my junk & don't care if he does, either. The country has bigger problems than Wiener's wiener.

Not that his wiener wasn't a pretty nice size (we all know half the GOP are just jealous about that and nothing else.)

Why the hell should he resign? Because he flirted with some chicks online? Who gives a damn? From what it sounds like, it's not like the pictures or conversations were unsolicited. He wasn't straight up harrassing these girls, they were all having fun with it too it seems.

i like the guy. a lot actually. but this is not the conduct a public official should participate in. and you know i am one of the most liberal guys on here. people have been wanting to bring him down for awhile now. this is a black eye for him and for his party. i am all for sexting, but come on, you are in the house of representatives for fucks sake, you are not joe sixpack...

i have a feeling that one of breitbart's indiscretions will come back to haunt him one day.
