Or the remote. They'll do it but only after they mumble that its against postal regulations. Then stand back and listen for some hiss. No hiss, set it under the tree.     back for my bi-weekly chemo. Yes, we did have a very merry christmas. I got lucky in that it fell 10 days after I got DC'ed from the last chemo.

    I'm still doing good. Today is treatment #6 of 12. It kind of seems the side effects and length of side effects get worse with each treatment :cry: but I think that's to be expected. I am thankful that right now the bad effects don't last any longer than until NEXT wednesday. So, I just look forward to that.....and try and get my partying into those next 6-7 days :lol:

    Wow, do they have any pins that say Chemo Sucks? Cuz it sounds like it really does. I know the trade off is worth it in the long run but it still sounds like a bummer. :(

    I like the Cancer Sucks pins but since you only have a few I think I'll pass at the moment. There are folks here who are fighting it themselves or who have loved ones and they should have first dibs, I guess. :)

    Sorry to hear you're feeling like shit of late and that your prediction is turning out to be true. If you need some encouragement, just go back and look through the thread and see where you've come from and how far you've made it. All in good humor I might add. I can't begin to imagine how tough it is for you but I do know how well you've handled yourself throughout. So, with that in mind, keep on keeping on and stay focused on the "half way through it part." Picture yourself rounding second in Pacific Bell Park (it'll always be Candlestick to me), home of the SF Giants I think, and dig for third. An inside the parker is certainly doable. No strike outs, double plays, pop ups, caught stealings, force outs, and/or thrown outs allowed. You're coming home!

    Oh, and put that beer money in a jar. I'd bet it would fund a trip to Berlin!
