Just want you to know we have been thinking of you over the weekend. Had a busy volleyball tourney in a town even smaller than the one I live in... I think the population tripled/quadrupled in the town with the 12 high school teams that were there. It really is that small, but even Alta High from your neighborhood made it to the tourney.
if I told you I wasn't a bit apprehensive, I would be lying. not so much that I think I'll croak on the table but more over the uncertainty of my recovery and my life forward. I really don't know how long it will be until I can enjoy life's simple pleasures...going out, playing with my dog, etc.
I envy you folks who will be at PJ20. drink a beer for me! I plan on being with you in the setlist thread.
I think a few of my local friends will get a post surgery update from Codie and will be able to let you know how it went. I'm on day #2 of no solid food. it sucks....but beer ain't solid food

Apprehension is normal, I am in awe of have you have coped this far and know you have the strength to move forward with your life. It might be a while until you can do those 'normal' things, but you will, at somepoint, be able to do them.
