    Im showing up at that hotel....

    And the only time I am leaving is to go to the shows....

    No preparties for me....
    No bars...
    No charity functions....

    Ill have my own 3 day party at the hotel, and at the shows......
    Take me piece by piece.....
    Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

    VIP was renamed Sports City. New Horizons is 9/10 of a mile from the hotel. We can call and see who wants our business. We have plenty of time. I just don't feel like traveling all day then driving to Lake Geneva. The closer to the hotel the better for me.

    I would rather just stay close to hotel....Going to have be up pretty earlier Saturday morning...So, better off staying close to the hotel...I am down for going to a bar and meeting up with fans....

    I really like the idea of meeting the cluster of people staying at this place. But a llot of people will be at the end of a long day of traveling.

    We've got two long days and nights ahead of us.

    There is the "spouse" factor- My Wife is always game for Pearl Jam but will want to turn in earlier Friday.
    Plus
    New Horizons is 1.1 miles away. A Perkins and variety of fast food places are within a couple of blocks.
    I called the night clerk tonight for advice and he was clueless about anything. I think the day-timers are a bit sharper.

    The pictures of this place shows there is a large conference/meeting room with tables. Why don't we just reserve that room, and BYOB, order in pizza or bring food or whatever people want from the nearby establishments. People can come and go as they please.

    Ugh!! I got shut out after a total of 11 hours and over a dozen credit card entries!
    I haven't been back on the site just out of sheer disappointment. Then i get on tonight and
    I see all you guys making your plans, you're killing me!!!! :( :(
    Seriously, I'm hoping to score tickets with the general public sale next week.

    Do NOT give up. That's exactly how I felt earlier this week, then an unmet friend offered me half of her two pairs, and on to Wisconsin I go.

    It looks like Ms Wes C Addle is organizing something, but I'm not sure where it is in relation to the hotel. If it's too far I'm fine with just going to a bar close to the hotel and hanging out. Basically, whatever everyone decides is fine with me :-D

    Hey everyone, my buddy and I are interested in joining any preparty festivities. Didn't get tix through 10c, but holding out hope that we will get tix somehow (feel free to let me know if anyone has an extra set of res/ga :) ). We are renting a car, so we can help with carpool issues, as needed, too. Looking forward to meeting everyone (hopefully)!!
