    not sure i'm going (my mom's freaking out) but the super 8 was the place i wanted to go to. until we saw reviews and my mom forbad me, screaming BED BUGS BED BUGS!!

    Well, I booked 2 double beds so worse case if they overbook, I can hook up 2 more people in my room.

    Ok I screwed up big time. I had wanted to stay here if PJ20 happened at Alpine. I was severely sick in bed for most of this week and didnt spend much time online so didnt make the reservation and now it's sold out. Really wish I hadn't procrastinated. Did anyone reserve an extra room by any chance? Please? :)

    Sold out already? I called yesterday at this time and there were a lot of rooms. Lol. Everyone must have called after me. I even asked the woman if there were a lot of calls from nuts like us and she said no.

    I tried to switch my hotel to here, but as of this morning, sold out for sat and sun. I'm way out by the airport instead!

    My Wife and I are booked at the Super 8 Friday through Monday morning. I haven't checked into car rentals from Chicago just yet (in case the shows are Saturday and Sunday- then we'd stay in Chicago Friday night) but we might consider car pooling if that fits anyone's schedule.

    Here's the situation, I called the Super 8 and got my reservations about 2 weeks ago and warned the lady we would eventually be coming. I got the room for $79 but they have since raised the rates to $99 a night. We hit it off really good on the phone. They sold over 30 rooms since last night and are now sold out. She has my number and should anyone cancel she will call me and I will book the room and spread the love to the board. She also said the closest bar is a sports bar about 1.5 miles away if we want to arrange an after party. Let me know what you guys think!
