Yeah, that was a great tour. Even better than Zooropa, IMO. The opening night of Zooropa '93 (i.e. the European stadium leg of the Zoo TV tour) was my first U2 concert.
And yes, GA in the USA is about $55 for U2. OK, they also have $250 seats, but I do think that those saying that U2 are charging an outrageous fortune for seats are at best ill-informed. Each concert also has $30 and $55 tickets (and even $95 is more or less 'cheap' nowadays for established artists, with lots of times tickets prices starting at $100 and above).
That's awesome. I would've loved to see them on Zoo TV.
I agree what you said about them and their ticket prices. They've always cared about their fans and have normally kept the prices low.

Elevation must've been a blast to see.

With both Zooropa and Stay being played tonight, it's the first show since Dec. 10, 1993 to have multiple songs from the Zooropa album in the setlist.
hell yes.
Hell yeah! I definitely need to download this show once it's available. Hopefully it's a good audience boot.

that's what happens when they do multiple shows in one city, try to change it up a bit. I wonder what they will do tonight?
I don't know but tonight might be a little crazier. Maybe they'll break out "Love Rescue Me" tonight.

When the 360 tour came through last time, we did both shows at Giants Stadium in GA. The first day we came early, got in the line and waited all day. We brought lawn chairs, food, etc. At about 3:30-4:00 pm (way too early) security had us take all chairs and stuff to cars, then began compressing the line. They pushed us all into a small area in front of the doors, basically most of us losing our places in line. There we stood for about 2 hours until the doors opened (very hot day), then made us go through separate security for male/female. Then finally able to get in, made a mad rush to the checkpoint at the side to get into inner circle. A complete cluster f*&k. We got a spot sort of on the side and it wasn't too bad, still was an excellent show and glad I got to see it from that close.
The second day we were tired from all that (I am old, I know) so instead we found friends tailgating in the parking lot, hung out there all day, then a little bit after doors opened, we went right in, got into inner circle, same place as previous day. Then we just decided to go out into the main field for the show, was not as crowded, could see just fine, and really enjoyed the show.
I guess the point of all that explanation is that if you want to be in the front, you really have to pay your dues - long wait all day, mad rush once you get in, then you will need to stand your ground to hold onto your spot. If you decide not to go that route, the GA field is huge, plenty of places to see the show from, and you can also enjoy the rest of the day too.

Also, U2.com has a video of Zooropa from Mexico City, but I think it's only for paid members.

I'm loving that EBTTRT, Stay, Zooropa and HMTMKMKM have made their way back on the list. I'm debating on seeing them one more time on this leg of 360. I saw them in Atlanta last time, and came away with 2 things: 1. It was indoors, so it just felt like an arena show, but at 3x macrofication and 2. Muse upstaged them. I've seen U2 12 times now and the last one was the worst. So do I get that sour taste out of my mouth or just move on...

Definitely happy about Stay and Zooropa. I'm contemplating about seeing them at Giants Stadium. I really want to see them live. At least you've seen them a dozen times.

Well, radically different is in the eye of the beholder, as this is still the 360 Tour. And while updated visuals are nice, I don't really consider them a radical change. But I just did a comparison of the first and last (up to now) shows I've seen on this tour and it has evolved quite a bit. Just for comparison, here are the two setlists.
Barcelone, June 30th 2009 (tour opening) Main Set: Breathe, No Line On The Horizon, Get On Your Boots, Magnificent, Beautiful Day, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For - Movin' On Up, Angel of Harlem - Man In The Mirror - Don't Stop Til You Get Enough, In A Little While, Unknown Caller, The Unforgettable Fire, City of Blinding Lights, Vertigo, I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight (remix), Sunday Bloody Sunday, Pride, MLK, Walk On - You'll Never Walk Alone, Where the Streets Have No Name, One Encore(s): Ultraviolet, With Or Without You, Moment of Surrender
Sao Paulo, April 13th 2011 Main Set: Even Better Than The Real Thing, I Will Follow, Get On Your Boots, Magnificent, Mysterious Ways, Elevation, Until the End of the World - He's Got the Whole World In His Hands, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, Pride, The Model, Beautiful Day - Gracias a la Vida, Miss Sarajevo, Zooropa, City of Blinding Lights, Vertigo - It's Only Rock and Roll, I'll Go Crazy (remix) - Relax - Two Tribes, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Scarlet, Walk On - You'll Never Walk Alone Encore(s): One, All I Want Is You - Where the Streets Have No Name - All You Need Is Love, Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me, With or Without You, Moment of Surrender
The show certainly got a different vibe, with some rare songs (Zooropa, Scarlet, Love Rescue Me to name just a few) appearing on this tour.
BTW, U2 had a dress rehearsal yesterday (Friday), where they performed for some selected guests. These were mainly people who had to do with the Special Olympics organisation.
Main Set: Even Better Than The Real Thing, I Will Follow, Get On Your Boots, Magnificent, Mysterious Ways, Elevation, Until the End of the World - Anthem, All I Want Is You - Worried Blues, Stay, Beautiful Day - Blackbird, Pride, Miss Sarajevo, Zooropa, City of Blinding Lights, Vertigo, I'll Go Crazy (remix) - Discotheque - Please, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Rejoice, Walk On - You'll Never Walk Alone Encore(s): One, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow - Where the Streets Have No Name, Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me, With or Without You
