Does anyone know a good place to follow the setlist of a U2 show? I have friends going Saturday and would like to follow along with them. I know I can probably just check the previous show's setlist, but I'm a nerd and not doing anything Sat. night (see: nerd reference) and thought it might be fun to follow along.

U2.com forum with a thread that will follow along, but I think it is for paid members. That is usually where I follow along.

I am not a member of it, but I think Interference also has threads to follow along:
    http://u2.interference.com/f306/

but, could you go to the show??

Thanks. Both of them look like they will work. I just want to view them, not post so I'm ok without registering.

I would go, but I live in Northern CA. My friends live in WA which is why they are going.

ah, ok. Are you near Oakland? They play there June 7. I was going to go to that one, but had to cancel the trip.

I'm about an hour and half from Oakland. I saw them there in 2005. I like them but don't have to see them everytime through. I saw them on Popmart and the 2005 show. I'm still debating whether or not to see Ed in Oakland in July.

well im off to the show!!!

i will be stopping at the premium outlets as our dollar is now essentially par, buying some shorts, then checking into the Pan Pacific Seattle (58$/night). I will then watch the Canucks beat Boston at the Hawks nest, then make my way into Qwest Field, get my picture taken by the gigapixel cam, then watch Lenny, then have my mind blown!!! Here's hoping it's a good one!

    zooropa from last night....

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5UyIdNkJfc

Comments: A new video debuts before Beautiful Day. It features astronaut Mark Kelly (Gabby Giffords husband, while he was still on board the Space Shuttle) holding up a series of word parts that leads into the song, and then saying 'tell my wife I love her … she knows.' Kelly then reappears again later in the song on the video screen, and recites the bridge lyrics ('See the world in green and blue,' etc.) Members of Pearl Jam, R.E.M and Heart are at the show. Also at the show is one of Aung San Suu Kyi's sons.

Be curious to know where you were sitting -- didn't see this thread when I wrote up my review:
    viewtopic.php?f=9&t=160045

Kravitz's sound was very tight up close, I was 6-8 people back, dead center from the flyway -- the round runway around the stage. U2 was overblown in places, mostly in the highs a strange ringing at times, Bono's mic was too hot in places -- that acoustic number, the guitar's strings were all abuzz or it was a bad reciever. And once I backed away from the stage, OMG the echo/overlay of the reinforcement satallite speakers was very noticable. I backed up to in front of the projection/soundboard area on the field for the encores and it was bad.

But that's that -- overall I had an absolute blast!
    [sic] happens

Wow. At first by the title, I thought they were looking to take legal action against the band. I wonder if Oakland Coliseum will give them free tickets to games or if the band will step in and let those people attend a show for free.

I know it's not an American show but does anyone know if Glastonbury streams their festival online? I would love to watch U2's set.

Usually no, but if they do, it'll probably be on BBC. Whatever it is, the broadcast clips will appear on youtube.

Oh ok. They should stream their set.

I also noticed B.B. King is performing the same day on the same stage a few hours before U2 goes on. Do you think he'll join them onstage and they perform "When Love Comes to Town"?
