Underused, certainly. Aesthetically, though, they were badass.
The way they were defeated was great.  Ben getting that saber from Rey was sick!
And his little gesture towards the knights of ren before fighting them. Sad that he died.

Kylo and Vader essentially made someone like Joey Stalin look like a crossing guard at a kitten daycare center.

The Mandalorian was an excellent series.

Pedro Pascal must have been super excited when his agent told him he got the gig.  But ironically it's an iconic role where no one knows who is playing it due to the mask that can never come off.

"Pedro, great news!  You got the lead in a potential groundbreaking star wars series .... but the world will only see your face for 11 seconds"

Maybe that will change in season 2 ...

haha yeah. Wasn't sure what word to use for it. Curtsy sounds right. I saw a gif image of it online.
Adam Driver was so great. You could tell Ben was back as Ben by how Adam acted.

Yes, I've spent so much money this month on art materials and need the money for lessons.
I've had to sacrifice things like seeing Tool in concert next year.

They had a deal where you could pay for 3 years at 33% off.

I'd only get it to see Mandalorian and then cancel.

That's what I would do.  Just get it for a month and cancel as soon as you finish watching ... if it's like Netflix they will keep the account active until the billing cycle is over.  It's probably cheaper than a movie ticket.

Or find a friend that has it and watch it with them.

Watched the rise of skywalker again today. Did notice something weird/odd/cool (maybe on purpose). Anyway towards the end when Rey and BB-8 went back to Tattooine and saw the suns set they were on top of each other like BB-8. Just thought that was kinda cool.

Liked it on my first viewing, loved it on my second. The Palpatine stuff is still clunky but most everything else works. I'm looking forward to watching this film a lot in coming years.

  • I didn't realize there were rabid lunatics that bash everything in the new trilogy, lol!?!  We are pretty civil on here then.

There are a few characters I did feel were pointless and that is Finn, Rose and Phasma.  I also didn't care for the furbies on Jedi island, or that snowcone uniwheel droid they found on that ship in the last one.
  • Thoughts_ArriveThoughts_Arrive Melbourne, Australia Posts: 15,165
Phasma was made out to be some bad ass character and she fizzled out.
Yeah this toxicity online is so stupid. Angry dweebs hiding behind keyboards. They will hate everything and anything.
It just reflects how negative and hateful society has become.

  • HAHAHAHAH!!!  Now that was one of the worst casting jobs ever!  The man known for losing his cool and yelling was cast as an even keel , soft spoken Jedi.

I still like Clone Wars though...
