Intelligence garnered from waterboarded detainees was used to track down al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden and kill him, CIA Chief Leon Panetta told NBC News on Tuesday.

"The road to bin Laden began with waterboarding," Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., House Homeland Security Chairman, said in an NBC News interview in which he asserted that waterboarding is a "moral imperative" that "saves lives."

Now ask yourself, how many more terrorists has waterboarding and other forms of torture created?

This is not a personal attack and I honestly mean no disrespect to anyone on this board, but the Pearl Jam Forum is the last place I would have ever expected to see someone write something supporting the use of torture for any reason. :("It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0

BULLSHIT! Propaganda! Using his death to condone.
Does that make sense to you ? That water boarding is the root cause of Osama's assassination.
Give me a fuckin' break. That man, Mr. King, is definitely at a lower level of intelligence than the ones I know.
Homeland Security Chairman ...
No shit, the Homeland Security Chairman said that ... then it's true!
WHAT A FARCE.
I was happy and now I'm mad. Thanks King, for taking advantage of the gullible.
This is an example of what pisses me off.
eeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
The root cause of Osama's assassination was water boarding ... you kidding me?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?Post edited by [Deleted User] on1996: Toronto

Well as I'm sure you're aware, there's no one location or nation to carry this out. It's not like simply saying let's take down (insert nation here). It's a different fight and the unless we're prepared (as a society) to rid the world of all of them (which is something we're not nor have ever been), we're just skimming the fat off the top... until the next bunch come around. But like most things in our nation, we don't address them til it's already too late.usamamasan1 wrote:The guys we are talking about that we are hunting. Do you know what they do? I am a realist. We can't all get along. In the meantime, I am prepared to accept imperfections in my team. I look past the costs because I realize the rewards. We must destroy them, the evil do'ers.0
